Manrose 1280 Extractor Fan Wall Fixing Kit 150mm is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good value kit This is a budget priced lightweight kit but it works. This was bought to replace a Manrose assembly which I fitted around 20 years ago - I don't remember precisely when but the louvres eventually became brittle and cracked.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Close, but not quite. Kit quality is fine, but the gravity shutters on the external fascia need scrapping. If wall in question is north easterly facing, this will flap, and it will become annoying. As said, a redesigned or different external grill would be preferred.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value ducting I fitted my fan and ducting through a hole left by removing a 1930's 6 x 8 air brick so there was ample room, and straight through the wall. A simple and straightforward job so very pleased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless. Aluminum flexible duct is much too big for a 150mm core, the vent will fit but that is it making it useless. Don't waste your time with this unless you are cutting a hole of 165mm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Used to fit new extractor fan in the kitchen. Worked very well decent quality, only little thing you have to be aware of is, if you are bending aluminum pipe in sharp angle make sure you do this gently and don't stretch section fully before forming your angle - otherwise pipe will split as is made of kind of coiled aluminium strip

Rated 4 out of 5 by from duct kit simplicity Worked fine for me, you just need to pull the flexible aluminium duct out to the length you need.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extractor fan fitting kit All I can say it is rubbish tube to short ! around 600 mm can' t do anything with it !
Date published: 2015-10-23
Rated 1 out of 5 by from cheap and nasty waste of money and time . aluminium tube , breaks easy , not long enough , vent brittle and cheap , does not fully cover area neatly , flaps flap wildly making loads racket ....... save your self bother and buy something proper
