Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works but takes a while I was a bit wary of buying this as it's so expensive but it has cut around 15 holes without giving up. I was cutting through porcelain tiles and it did take a while and seems to need a little pressure to work well but it does work and I'm overal glad I bought it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to beat Fantastic drill bit, much more rugged and faster cutting than a traditional spade bit !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Used the cheaper spade cutters before and they die quickly on porcelain. This flew through porcelain with ease. Yes it's expensive but will last ages and saves lots and lots of time! Cool it after each hole and unblock the hole at the tip. Buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gadget After ordinary bits had burnt out this bit drilled hole after hole with ease, about 29 in all. I could not have done the job without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievably good ! I bought 2 of these because I had 42 holes to drill through porcelain tiles. I drilled all my holes using only the 1 bit and it's still almost like new. I didn't apply pressure and I let the bit do the work. Phenomenal. I cannot believe how well it has worked. I didn't cool the bit with water but I did stop a couple of times on each hole to let the tile cool a little. The condition of the bit, now that I have drilled all my holes, makes me think it could easily do another 42. Don't waste your money on cheap imitations. Buy this bit, go easy with it and you should not be disappointed. I just can't stress how good it is !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than the rest The only way to drill porcelain tiles. Still a bit slow but patience is rewarded time and time again. Best used on about 2500 rpm and a little pressure. I also recommend dipping in water to cool off during drilling. This is the second one I have bought and now wouldn't bother with anything else. Cannot be sharpened or revived.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from tile drill This is not as advertised. I managed to drill 6 holes in 10mm porcelain tiles before it was useless. It states 30-70 holes but this is a joke. I used it as per instructions and at right speed not on hammer etc and it only managed 6 holes. I have now got the erbauer drill that it £10 cheaper. So as such I can't recommend this drill. :(
