Marcrist PG750X Dry Diamond Tile Drill Bit 6 x is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gadget After ordinary bits had burnt out this bit drilled hole after hole with ease, about 29 in all. I could not have done the job without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievably good ! I bought 2 of these because I had 42 holes to drill through porcelain tiles. I drilled all my holes using only the 1 bit and it's still almost like new. I didn't apply pressure and I let the bit do the work. Phenomenal. I cannot believe how well it has worked. I didn't cool the bit with water but I did stop a couple of times on each hole to let the tile cool a little. The condition of the bit, now that I have drilled all my holes, makes me think it could easily do another 42. Don't waste your money on cheap imitations. Buy this bit, go easy with it and you should not be disappointed. I just can't stress how good it is !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than the rest The only way to drill porcelain tiles. Still a bit slow but patience is rewarded time and time again. Best used on about 2500 rpm and a little pressure. I also recommend dipping in water to cool off during drilling. This is the second one I have bought and now wouldn't bother with anything else. Cannot be sharpened or revived.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from tile drill This is not as advertised. I managed to drill 6 holes in 10mm porcelain tiles before it was useless. It states 30-70 holes but this is a joke. I used it as per instructions and at right speed not on hammer etc and it only managed 6 holes. I have now got the erbauer drill that it £10 cheaper. So as such I can't recommend this drill. :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from srt Good drill, though on hard porcelain they have a limited life (as does everything!) even regularly wetting while drilling to keep the bit cool and drillilng carefully i was only managing about 30 holes in hard porcelain, i think its the tile rather than the drill thats the problem !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job On my second one of these. First one burnt out after 5 hole. I wasn't sure if this was my fault as drilling too fast. Took the plunge to buy another and treated it a little better. 3 hole on still appears ok but time will tell. They are expensive so a bit disappointing when they burn out! My advice is buy one just treat it well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect. Just the job. Was apprehensive about the price of this drill bit and it nearly put me off until I added up the cost of all the other cheap bits I have burnt out so decided I had nothing to lose. Overall after my first use of drilling 4 holes into some really hard porcelain tiles I am very impressed at how quickly and efficiently it cut through them. Cut like a knife through butter and no mess as it does what it says on the packet. DRY cuts at high speed. I wouldn't want to keep drilling at high speed for too long as I imagine it would burn out at some point so just knocked my drill speed down a touch and it worked perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, in my limited expe After only making a 2mm deep 'saucer' after 30 mins through a 9mm tile using a tungsten bit, and faced with needing to drill a total of 4 holes, decided that I needed to spend some cash on fancy technology. Bought this (v) expensive one ( 6mm ) and a cheaper 7 mm one of another brand, and used this to do donkey work first hole. Preformed almost effortlessly, with the waggle techinique, after first using the tungsen bit to give me a centre punch start. After 4 holes looked like had lots of life left in it.
