Rated 5 out of 5 by from Internal clear varnish This is amazing, it is milky in colour, easy to apply and see where you have been so that you do not over-brush. Dries very quickly and no odour. The more you varnish the deeper the "shine" if you need one. Used wet and dry in between coats and every one has commented on how good it looks. Excellent would recommend to anyone wishing to put finishing touches to a nice piece of real wood. Best of all brushes clean up lovely by using water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Nonsense in this can Performance wise - the contents go a long way. When applied the liquid is a milky white but dries clear - I find this actually helps when applying by brush as I can see where I've painted already. Compared with the equivalent product elsewhere this is good value. On the note of using a brush, the varnish self-levels nicely and no streaks or lines are visible. A fairly pleasant odour from the varnish, surprisingly. It's water based as well so easy to clean up. I tried it out firstly with a 750ml can but will definitely be going back for a 2.5L soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value product I bought this after reading previous reviews and agree that it is excellent value and a good quality product. Dries fast and enhances the appearance of the wood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great varnish and great value A little more runny than some brands so some care needed when applying, but goes on very well, dries quickly and gives an excellent finish. When compared to other brands there is really no comparison as this is top of the league in terms of quality and considerably cheaper than others so is superior value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The "turn-to" varnish I always use this for finishing oak doors and other joinery. Quick-drying, odour free, reliable, easy to apply and clean up. For this quality, the price is excellent too. What more do you need? Well - the option of bigger cans would be very useful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK If you have the time I admit I didn't make the connection between "quick drying" and water based. The description doesn't mention this. So I was a bit surprised to open the can and find something white looking. Tried it on a small area of the intended target and as it was difficult to see any varnish I switched to polyurethane and finished it that way. I prefer paints and paint strippers to smell awful and rot your brains, but on another job I tried this product and found it works. It does take at least three coats to build up any kind of finish. More vanish than varnish at the early stages. Quick drying but multiple coats required. Plus points - good if you want a natural "unvarnished" looking finish and brushes are easy to clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As good as the branded version I've used this on two Oak faced doors - applied with a 4" sponge roller, took hardly any time and although when first applied you get a fine orange peel finish, it levels out to a perfectly flat satin finish. 3 thin coats give an appearance as good as a factory applied finish. 750ml was just about enough to put 3 coats on two sides of two doors
