Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why didnt I find this sooner No longer scrabbling around for a bit of stuff with the right profile to use as a smoothing tool. Brilliant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for the DIYer Easy to use and provides a much better finish than I have managed before using other products. Gives a good professional finish. Now have pride of place in my toolbox.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not that easy to use After reading the reviews and watching the videos with tradesmen recommending these to use instead of masking tape and your wetted finger I bought the set as I had to apply grey silicone around all the bathroom floor edges as no matter how hard I had tried due to the walls not being level I had an uneven gap to fill and cover with the grey silicone to make it look a professional job. I found these difficult to use and as I run it along the silicone bead instead of leaving a bevelled edge it removed it all again. Now this may have been because I am left handed and like many tools they are made for use by right handed only. Anyway to be totally fair after lots of wasted silicone and much practise I managed to leave a narrow bead of silicone in place, but for me I found it impossible to leave a larger bead in place than 6mm but it looks great so I am happy I guess but would have been cheaper to buy a single tool rather than paying for a set that for me I can't master or use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good These make short work of doing siliconing. It is worth noting that even though they come in a box that is branded no nonsense the tools are actually FugenMeister ones. Once you get the nack of these tools you will swear by them as they make getting a nice looking clean bead really easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome... Spent about 2 hours the day before i purchased this tool trying to seal around my bath using silicone and soapy water to smooth it off and just messed it up every few feet. Fast forward a day after buying this tool took me 20 minutes to re-do the mess I'd made the day before, looks 10 x better now and half the time spent doing it. A must for a DIYer, make sure you use the right side of the tool :-) Very expensive for what it is but i won't ever be without one from now on

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, I can do this myself! I bought these after reading the reviews. It's always bugged me that I couldn't do the sealant on bathrooms. I hadn't really tried any methods previously, maybe a poor attempt with a dry finger with no masking, but that's about it. These things are so simple yet so very very effective. I pumped a consistent bead of silicone in, then did exactly as per the instructions. Worked very well, but left tram lines where there was excessive silicone. I found that if you wait about 45 mins and then use the next size up, it scrapes away all the excess tramline silicone. They don't put that in the instructions but I saw a reviewer mention it here. 4 stars for value as whilst they're expensive, I think they're worth it. Go for it, you can do it fellow DIY'ers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more masking tape or finger My last sealant job was a bath 8 years ago with lots of masking tape and wet finger. In the end I had to got a pro in as you could see all the imperfections sitting in the bath. Next job was today, an Ikea Belfast sink pride of place in our recently rebuilt kitchen. I bought this tool based on the reviews and the results were amazing. Really straight lines and all excess safely in the bin. Rated slightly lower as bit expensive for bits of plastic but the hours saved and professional results make up for it
