Outside Tap Cover x 19mm x is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product Have been looking for a replacement tap protector and for the price this was good value. The angle of our tap was completely different to the design of this tap protector but as there was plenty of length I was able to cut the desired angles to make a perfect fit, it took no longer then 10 minutes to adapt with just the use of a junior hacksaw

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it says Knowing it was going to be a cold night I decided upon purchasing some insulation for outdoor pipes until I stumbled across this. I instantly purchased it, took it home and fitted it directly. It was a little tricky at first knowing which way round to fit it, but when it eventually went on it was fitting well. Only adjustment I had to make was to trim the part where the pipes come in to the tap. Other than that it's excellent and I haven't had the pipes freeze since then.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick, convenient and discrete Checked online for availability at local store before going out in the cold! Took 5 minutes to buy and 5 minutes to fix onto tap. Wanted something discrete for front garden. Even with arthritic hand I found it easy to install. Don't know how long it will last but at this price I don't mind buying another next winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outside tap cover The foam cover has a very useful preformed opening part to allow fitting over a plastic connector on a hosepipe. So that the hose can be kept connected to the tap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy Fit Nice and easy to fit and very secure. If the tap is being used regularly it might be worth using a couple of cable ties.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Taptastic... well, not really As others, bought with the intention of protecting an outdoor water tap in the garden. How effective it will be has yet to be seen... ... but just wanted to make potential purchasers aware that this, while functional, is of a very poor design, and when applying to my particular tap, split into two seperate halves much too easily. The design of the cover has a scored line on the top edge which I assume, is designed to split to allow fitting around the tap, but in practice, when fitting the cover, the bottom edge also split which meant I was then left with two seperate halves. Fitting was certainly easier, but since the pack only included three small clips, they turned out to be fairly useless and ended up using insulation tape to hold the pieces together around the tap. Design wise, the split should really at the bottom of the cover, since I assume most tap installations would have the pipe entry from below Overall, practical, but very poor design when attempting to install

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple effective solution. Had meant to buy some protection for my outside tap for a while now and the recent cold spell got me moving. Glad I did for this item is easy to fit, only minimum cutting required, looks good and does the job effectively. Taken another worry off my mind.
