Pegler Tee Ball Valve Red 15mm is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ball Valve A good size handle makes it easy to operate and seems to be sturdier than other plastic type lever valve

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality bit of kit Looks and feels well made. OK, so it's tight to turn but that means it shouldn't leak as the cheaper ball valves often do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pegler T ball valve Well made and solid. Only gripe, quite sharp at edge of ground finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If Carling did ball valves.... Did the job as a secondary shut off valve after main gate valve seized open. Seems good quality for the money. No issues with it. Would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peglar isolating valve An easy to install isolator valve. It is a non directional valve and can be installed in any orientation. A good size handle makes it easy to operate. Bit chunky but very good quality. Some valves tends to seize up after prolonged period of unused and starts to drip from the gland, causing more work. Colour coded handle makes it easy identification. Will be using these valves in preference to others where periodic servicing is required without worrying about seizing and subsequently leaking. Thanks to everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Product Pegler has a good reputation for quality and this valve is no exception. Solid, good deep sockets for the pipe, and positive action on the handle. This contrasts with cheaper products which often leak, at the compression nuts and valve spindle. A good alternative to lever valves as they need less room to operate. Like all valves, they benefit for being 'exercised' occasionally to keep them working effectively.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I had one that leaked! I'm sure you will think it's user-error. However, I can assure you that I had one (of three) that I happily fitted while doing some plumbing work on a kitchen. Paid the extra for Pegler as I have realised the cheap ones really are rubbish - I had one once that was seized which is very annoying (that resulted in the need for a freeze kit to sort the problem - so definitely avoid the cheap no-name ones!) Anyway finished up the job, whacked the main stopcock back on and disaster! Water spraying up the wall like Niagara Falls in reverse. It turned out the valve could not shut properly even when the handle was fully turned. After taking it back off you could see the slight gap between the ball and casing when you looked very closely. So check yours before you leave the shop to save lots of agro. Replaced with another and all fine. So - just check the ball valve inside closes completely. Somehow mine was misaligned which is poor when you consider the price of this unit. I would still buy them again as they are clearly well made, but that error does bug me. By the way yes they are very stiff to start moving, but that is because of the nylon fitting inside the valve that seals against the ball. It is normal. The tightness keeps the water out from behind the ball which is what stops it corroding up like cheap ones, so it will still work in 8 years time when you really need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for emergency Already had some fitted months ago. No leaks. Bit bulkier and cost lot more than normal valves but if there's a leak it can be turned off immediately without needing a screwdriver. You try explaining to someone over phone how to turn off usual type of valve over the phone whilst water is leaking everywhere!!!
