Purdy Monarch Elite Synthetic Paintbrush 3" is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great brushes, poor storage Great brushes however I was disappointed in the condition of the brush purchased as the tips of the filaments were bent to the side, spoiling the brushes performance. Purdy site states 'never store a paint brush on its tip, which can result in curling'.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased Diy enthusiast. Been user of Hamilton Brushes for many, many years. Thought I would give the Purdy brush a go, as much as I hate to say this and sorry to the Hamilton Brand, but Purdy really surprised me, excellent brushes that hold the paint well and gives a better and less lined finish, I might be wrong but they seem to take less time to clean as well. So I am now a lover of Purdy Brushes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Brush Bought this off the back of buying the Monarch Elite boxset about 18 month ago. I've spent years using reeeeally poor quality brushes, and over night your technique and finish improve. Great quality, I don't remember EVER losing a bristle. Last forEVER, if you can clean them well and store/dry in card sleeve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pukka brush Bought it on deal of the day cheapest price I've seen worth spending more to get better finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purdy 3" paintbrush For many years my wife told me to buy decent paint brushes. I finally took her advice after I had used a Purdy paint brush to paint a large steel panel and a achieved a streak free mirror finish. Yes they are expensive but they are truly superb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost worth the price Make no mistake, this is a fantastic brush. Keeps its shape, never sheds bristles, will give a super fine finish, and cleans up well. Lasts much longer than traditional bristle brushes with paint like Farrow & Ball modern emulsion, which is prone to adhere to the bristles. Only the very steep cost (reportedly cheaper if you can find them sold in value packs) should make you think twice.
