Rawlplug Hollow Wall Anchors M4 x 40mm 20 Pack is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the job Did what I needed, perfect for the job in hand. Will buy again if needed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hollow fixers Great item when used with tool (PC 92462) to set the correct depth. Makes fixing anything to plaster board / hollow walls a cinch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No failures Have now used more than 6 of these fixings without any issues. simply followed RAWPLUG's instruction. I filled the through hole, dia 8mm, removed the M4 screw, gently tapped the hollow tube into position until the head had bitten into the plasterboard, then gently "set" the plug by screwing the M4 screw home by hand, until there was significant resistance. The metal fixing was then ready. Easy.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good plasterboard wall fixings Good strong fixings for plasterboard walls, I have used them for medium to heavy applications and they have not let me down yet. It makes it much easier if you use the setting tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for plasterboard For plasterboard I now only use Intersets as they are the only reliable fixings. Plastic plugs and self drill do not hold.. I needed to fix the hinge for child gate on stairs and needed the smaller M4 size. These were ideal as the M5 ones I had were too large. I do recommend using the fixing tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meh... They'll do! The first two I used broke in the wall, the collar on the outside just came off - shoddy welds! The others I have used seem to be holding up well. I believe the item is overpriced, but they didn't have any other M4 sized screw anchors in stock. Personally the quality of these could be a little better and also the option of a 10 pack instead of a 20 pack only would be appreciated!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dreadful quality The thread on the screw is very poor quality and 4 out of 5 of these anchors will damage the thread when attempting to tighten them with a screwdriver. I had bought previously the same type of fixing from well known furniture store and it worked without any problems so here it is clearly problem with the quality of the material or design. Would definitely not recommend. N.B. returning it at local ScrewFix was NOT as straightforward as I would imagine!
