Rated 5 out of 5 by from best item to a fixing job I needed a good fixing into a concrete base and the Rawlbolt was the right length and will do the job perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Superbly strong anchor bolt. Rawlplug have made these things seemingly since forever, and they are still one of the best for ensuring a solid fixing that allows the bolt to be removed/refitted over and over again. Warning! If over torqued, are likely to crack or split the substrate they are in! So really, don't over tighten (esp. when into bricks). They also need the larger hole into the substrate first, so can't be drilled straight though (As with some other fixings.) Another drawback with the M8 and above sizes is:- They need a large hole size (14mm and above), which should be a concern for many DIY'er's as most hand and battery drills chucks, won't accept this size bit (They usually only accept up to 10mm or rarely, a maximum of 13mm). I haven't yet found such a drill bit with a reduced shank (Other than maybe by using an SDS bit in a standard chuck! (Not recommended!)). But still, installation drawbacks aside, they're a truly powerful and reliable fixing system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super strong Bought these to hang a garden gate and simple to use. Just need to drill the pilot hole longer to allow for the bolt to go through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job perfectly I bought a pack of these to hold some unistrut to the wall to hang my bicycles from. Due to the weight I needed something metal rather then plastic. These expand out as you tighten them and are so strong I could hang off them along with the bikes. Remember to get a 14mm Masonry drill bit which screwfix also sell for under a fiver (for some reason the 200mm long one is cheaper then the 100mm long one so get that one). If you have to hang something heavy then this is the fixing for you.
