RB Boss Galvanised Boltless Freestanding Shelving 4-Tier is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quick? No!!! Easy? Heck No!!! Made from the cheapest punched metal, razor sharp and almost all bent and buckled. The locking mechanism is a sick joke, little tabs that are so out of alignment they take a mallet to square up but then so weak and poorly designed that they pop out if you touch another part of the shelving. Took 2 experienced builders a full day to assemble 4 sets of these. and they were still popping apart as we attached them to the wall. These are by far the worst self assembly product I have ever encountered. Would have been quicker to build shelves from scratch. Screwfix needs to pull this product from sale. It's Awful!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy Shelving This product was a disappointment. It is flimsy and lightweight. There is as lot of profit built into the price and it is not a good buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CARE REQUIRED IN HANDLING Whilst this shelving was relatively good value and quite sturdy, the quality control at manufacturers left something to be desired. We purchased 9 of these to shelve out a store room. Each set of shelves showed poor quality control and had machining swarfs left on parts that were like thin cheese wire which were dangerous, causing cuts in handling - use caution and remove these with pliers DON'T try & pull them off by hand you will be cut and failure to remove could put users at risk. Also the feet are made of plastic and split very easily - would be better if rubber. Also some of the components were slightly twisted making it harder to assemble. Overall the product is quite good value - pity about the quality control.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job…. After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to take a chance and buy these selves. We needed a set of shelf’s for my mother-in-law’s shed, she wished to put items like plant food, slug pallets etc on them. Putting the shelf together was not hard, but benefited from a 2nd person to hold the uprights until I have fitted the rails at the top and bottom. Lining up the rails need a little time and care as the metal legs legs to twist out of line, but there were no real problems. Once built with all 4 shelf’s in place, the unit felt reasonability stable, but benefited from being screwed to the shed uprights - you need some washers as most screw heads are too small for the holes in the shelf’s legs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Free Standing Shelving Although it was suggested that this shelf build was a two man job I did manage to do it on my own, which is a big plus. The shelving is sturdy but I would suggest fixing to a wall if possible for extra safety. Only downside is that two of the plastic feet cracked and split whilst trying to fix them in place. I haven't contacted the manufacturer yet to see if they will send me a couple more!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A pile of junk I bought 3 of these to organise my garage. After 30 minutes of struggling, having sliced my hands on the flimsy razor sharp metal, and still not managed to get 4 pieces to stay together I gave up and am going to ask for a refund. The metal bends, the notches don't line up, the instructions are garbage, and basically it's not fit for purpose.
