RB Boss Powder-Coated Boltless Freestanding Shelving 4-Tier is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 37.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from BAD, very very BAD poor manufacture, poor design, poor instructions, terrible paintwork - just a very bad set if shelves - do yourself a favour look for an alternative. This is the first time screwfix has let me down on a product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shelving comments I was worried about buying these shelves following the numerous negative comments. However the instructions were clear, quality pretty good and end product seems sturdy. I had a bit of help from my 5 yr old for the first steps but after that it was pretty easy to complete on my own. You will though definitely need a rubber mallet. In conclusion I would recommend this. Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap(ish) and cheerful Having read the more negative reviews I was a bit apprehensive about buying this product but decided to give it a go having looked at similar products from other companies. Putting it together is pretty straightforward, although having a rubber mallet is a must. I had a couple of tabs that were tricky to slot in, but in total it took me 30 minutes to build up the shelves. The instructions are easy to follow, I didn't find I needed a second person (I'm sure you would for the larger versions though). The shelves are certainly not over-engineered, every part is needed to ensure the stability of the final construction. The shelves were ok without fixing to the back wall of my shed, but much more secure once fixed. I wouldn't store my priceless collection of plutonium-covered Ming vases on these shelves, but for holding garden shed junk they are perfect and at an affordable price point.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the tin Although I have just purchased these shelving units they seem to be exactly what they say on the tin. They are sturdy and easy to put up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shelved DO NOT BUY, this is a dreadful product poorly made dreadful to assemble I bought 3 for my new office/ workshop as soon as I undid the packaging I knew this wasn't going to be good. After one hour of attempting to assemble I put it all back and returned items. The gauge of metal is to thin with a poor designed locking mechanism the whole design is flawed! I'm surprised that Screwfix really want to sell this item especially with such poor reviews. Very very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RB Boss shelving I totally agree with the 2016 reviews, this product is appalling and reflects badly on Screwfix. In summary the product is: 1. poorly manufactured; 2. exceedingly fiddly to assemble, resulting in purchasing and using bolts; 3. instructions are inadequate (resulting in referring to YouTube); and 4. the price does not reflect the poor quality of the product. At any price this product is not be fit for purpose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total rubbish Worst thing ever purchased, awful product, if I had packing it would be back on the counter, instead I am out of pocket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad As far as cheap shelving goes, this item is not to bad. Once you have it assembled, and this is the worst part, you will have a good strong shelf. The assembly is not good though. You have to knock the uprights together with a good size mallet. This can cause damage and bend the uprights if you get a tough joining bracket that resists all attempts to join the two uprights. You will need lots of patience and think about how to put this together. If two parts don't fit, STOP have a good look, try another way. Don't beat the cr*p out of it because you may never get it together. I have five car battery's on mine, and it handles the weight with ease.
