Reducing Set 15/10mm is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got there in the end Took me 2 attempts and parts to get it right, but they're cheap enough that it only really cost me time. The 1st one leaked all over the place, but that's because the olive didn't compress on the pipe?! The pipe had some paint on it. No idea if that caused the failure but figured a quick clean up with some sandpaper wouldn't hurt. Couldn't reuse the 1st reducer as the olive had compressed, just not on the pipe?! The reducer only fits one way so that's simple enough. You tighten until the parts separate. It's obvious when it happens as it cracks apart. The idea then is to give it another half turn or so. It says on the packet how far extra to turn it. Over tightening will distort the pipe and olive causing leaks, so best to stick to the instructions on this instead of giving the nut one for luck. The 1st one didn't work for me, so when I used the 2nd one I placed it in the replacement valve and cracked it off away from the radiator. Once I felt the crack, I took the nut back off the valve and made sure the olive fit the pipe. Assembled it all with some ptfe on the threads of new valve. Might not have been needed, but after the 1st time, I figured a belt and braces approach couldn't hurt. All works good. No leaks so far. Will have to wait till winter for a proper test but ran the heating for an hour while I was already sweating and no cause for me to swear yet. Homer Simpson style woohoo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item - saves a fortune This is great if you are changing some of your piping to 10mm or adding a new radiator with microbore. Simply pop this into the trv or lockshield and you can use a standard fitting with 10mm pipe. as the fittings for 10mm are much more expensive. I did this when I wanted to hide some pipe behind a skirting rather than pin in to the wall. Great product, just wish they did bags of 10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job I wanted to join tap tails with female thread/rubber washer connector direct to an isolator valve with compression fitting. Used the bottom half of this reducing set (cut off the top) to produce a face for the rubber washer. Turned a groove on the outer circumference of the body (like you can see on the 22mm version) and put an "O" ring in it to make it a watertight fit in the body of the compression fitting. Excellent result!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Little life saver First time I've used these, kicking myself for not doing so before, so quick and easy to use. No need for unsightly fittings and saved more than half the usual time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super product I had used similar reducers from other suppliers with mixed results. The fittings often leaked and needed aggressive tightening to seal. These are utterly brilliant - just tighten until you hear the click, then another 1/8 to 1/4 turn and they seal easily. Very neat as well - super product.
