Ring Metal Digital Air Compressor with Light 12V is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another faulty unit I don't usually do reviews but given that others report the same problem I thought would chuck in my tuppence worth. The product comes in a nice storage bag, is easy to use, the screw on connector is good quality, fast and does the job well - until after topping up tire number 5 when it died. If you unscrew the top of the DC plug you'll find a 32mm 250V 10amp slow blow fuse. 250V? - well amps are amps I suppose. Looks like this is not up to the job as a like for like replacement fuse lasted a similar amount of time. I have ordered some 20 amp automotive fuses with a 12 amp continuous rating so hopefully they will do the trick and cheaper than the 90 mile round trip to return it. As delivered - it's just waiting to let you down when you need it most.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from tyre inflator Bought one, It pumped up one tyre then blew the internal car fuse...So I then used the utility socket in the boot..it blew that fuse as well. Ended up blowing 4 car fuses in total then it stopped working altogether. Took it back to Screwfix where I was given a replacement with no issues at all. Tried it in the car park outside the shop and this one worked perfectly. It's a good pump, easy to use and nice features. Good replacement policy from Screwfix. Its a shame that the manufacturers (Ring) didn't test the first one before packaging.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but be careful!! Bought one of these this weekend via order online & collect next day in store. First one was faulty (light didn't work) so it had to be reordered. Second one works fine BUT blew the fuses on 2 of my 12v sockets before I realised what was going wrong. OK, so it's my fault that one of the fuses blew as it was only a 10A circuit (this machine takes 15A) but the other fuse that blew was on a 15A circuit. My solution was to buy a cable that connects to the battery using crocodile clips with the other end being a 12v 'cigarette-lighter' type socket. So now I've managed to pump up the tyres on my motorhome but the exercise took me 4 hours!
