Ring RCB208 8A Car Battery Charger 12V is rated 3.925925925925926 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from charging ahead I choose this charger as it is rated as suitable up to 120 AH and whilst I will use it on my cars it was purchased predominantly to charge a 115AH leisure battery on my caravan. Has a fast 8 amp charge and a slower trickle charge. No other features but much cheaper than the equivalent "smart" charger. two little pockets to retain the battery leads and mains lead when not in use. A good solid bit of kit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the box! Bought this for an emergency charge on my sons car, what can I say other than it worked and the battery is still charged and the car is still running.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great charger, high price This machine charged an entirely flat battery overnight on trickle charge - Perfect for my needs. The only complaint I have is that this model is available much cheaper in many online stores including delivery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A user friendly product Handy, compact and lightweight this charger is easy to use. With its stow away battery charger leads and mains flex, Both fit neatly in separate compartments to avoid tangles. There is a switch for high or trickle charge rates, I chose choose the trickle to boost my car battery for thr winter period as I do not travel many miles in winter and if I do the fan heater and lights sap the charging current to the battery. It comes with a nifty bag for storage and all tucks away in the boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent charger at a sensible p Item was readily available at a sensible price unit has a more resilient plastic case than similar models so less liable to be broken.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disposable product Sadly i have had a reoccuring alternator issue. I purchased one of these jsut over 1 year ago. It worked fine and was left on the side. 11 monmths later my alternator issue arose. I needed to charge the battery more frequently. What I noticed was the charger would pop presumably an overheat switchg. also charging time increased. So i got a refund to purchase a new one. This time it just wouldnt charge properly and when left on smelt dreadfull. I returned this now on my third and it charged once and now keeps overheating. Presumably these are made cheaply on the assumption peeople like myself will think they need it once only. The next time they need it the waratny will be void so the company will not have to issue a refund. Note this is now my third and each has failed after 1 to 5 charges. The information has been relayed to trading standards as i feel inadequate testing has taken place.
