Roughneck Electrician's Bolster & Guard 3 x 11" is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent bolster It's a bolster and a pretty good one. The hand guard does slip as some have said, never had a hand guard chisel that doesn't to be fair. I believe there is a slightly cheaper version with out guard if your not bothered. Cut out 6 back boxes in brick and was all good. Not really anything more to say

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Annoying buut does the job! I needed a new bolster and decided to go for one with a guard. I'd read previous reviews about the guard sliding up the shaft and the one I purchased is no different! After a few hits with the hammer, the guard was at the top of the shaft which means stopping every few hammer blows to slide it back. I may take it back or I may just pull the guard off and keep it. Other than that it appears to be a decent bolster so I'd just about recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bolster but ... This is a good bolster but as others have said, the safety grip keeps sliding out and it's a pain to put back using a hammer. Overall it's a good tool to use, it's tough and can deal with hard jobs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from BOLSTER This was an excellent purchase. It was a reasonable price and as I am a 60 year old female with no experience of using this tool, I was a little apprehensive. It was easy and I removed 2 rooms of skirting boards with little damage to the new plaster. I would recommend this item because If I can use it anyone can.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful tool Found the bolster very useful and easy to use. The guard was particularly helpful in the safe handling of the bolster neck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BOLSTER So far I have only used it briefly, it feels comfortable to holed when striking it with a club hammer. I comes with a blade protector.
