Salamander Pumps ESP80CPV Negative Head Shower Pump 2.4bar is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 207787.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from great pump when fitted right fitted two of these pumps to a large house with one bathroom and three on-suites and split the load between them, but they do need a lot of water flow and will only seem to work well with separate Essex flanges to the cylinder and 28mm flow from the cold water cistern to the cylinder. It really is a case of reading the instructions carefully first time round

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY Bought a Salamander pump to replace a 20 year old pump, It worked for 4 weeks then stopped. contacted salamander who would not replace it because the installation did not comply "exactly" with their recommendations. After several phone calls still no joy from them, so dismantled the pump and found it had been assembled wrong a circlip had not been fitted.. So beware these pumps are rubbish and the 2 year warranty is not worth anything DO NOT BUY !! get a cheaper pump which will last you 20 years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Pump poor after sales Fitted one of these to feed a bath for a client - Unit failed after two months due to a faulty electrical component - Ok things go wrong. Salamander didn't even look at the pump, and their initial approach was to find reasons why the installation voided the warranty and to offer me a new pump at half RRP - which was about the same as the purchase price. But only once the cold water storage tank had been increased to 700 Liters because there were two other bathrooms in the house - this single ended pump was only used to supply hot water to one bathroom, and in any event the hot water tank held less than 150 liters. To cut a long story short they eventualy agreed to look at the pump if I would return it to their technical department, where having diagnosed the faulty component they agreed to supply a new pump. This process took a month and a lot of effort, and in the meantime I replaced the pump with a Stuart Turner who did not require such a huge storage tank in order to validate their warranty.
