Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gloves Have used these for a while now, and have just bought a load more! Really good quality, and robust enough to stand the rigours of wearing through regular heavy paintwork sanding, yet thin enough to still use my touch screen on the phone if needed! Thoroughly recommended, although the only gripe is that you need to order them in for next day collection - they are not stocked in store, for some reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from workshop glove I usually use the lighter type of gloves and thought I would give these a try to see if they lasted any longer. They did outlast the lighter duty ones by quite a long way and the material on the back of the hand really did last well. One issue is that the grip material is porous so will let liquids soak through.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Gloves These are great site gloves, brilliant for general safety and grip purposes but specifically useful for sanding of detailing such as mouldings. Bleeding fingertips and loss of fingerprints are no more! They grip well, give a layer of cushioning without being bulky and are breathable so can wear for long periods (often easy to forget you are wearing them). These gloves are also useful for protecting hands from splatters when using paints and other substances that can cause dry skin etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the orange ones These are good general purposes gloves, they don't go sticky like orange ones leaving sticky marks on everything. Definitely worth the extra.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap and long lasting. Didn't expect these gloves to last long but I've been using them for all sorts of jobs for nearly 6 months. They are comfortable and robust. Good protection while sanding as well. No need to spend more on gloves for all purpose jobs. These are the ones I'll be using for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant for Hand Sanding Hand sanding ogee skirtings left my fingers raw. Can’t use a sanding block and getting into all the details requires being able to feel the contours so normal work gloves are useless. Previously I used old leaky washing up gloves that were no longer any good for washing up. Whilst washing up gloves are OK their resistance to abrasion is poor and being thin they don’t last long so I thought I would try these. I have to say they have been brilliant! I have large hands and they fit well. They are comfortable and unlike washing up gloves don’t make my hands sweaty. Most importantly they are thin and flexible enough for good tactile feel and the abrasion resistance is great. I would have worn out several washing up gloves but these are still going strong. They conform to EN388 standard with 4141 rating. I have since learnt that each digits in the rating signifies how good they are at resisting various mechanical hazards. The first 4 is resistance to abrasion and is the highest rating available. Google EN388 for more information on what the rating means.
