Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spax - worth it You know what you're getting with Spax - totally worth it, saves plenty of swearing at inferior quality fixings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best screws ! Over the years & whilst constructing our extension I have found these to consistently be the best make of screws. Design means no need to pre-drill & rarely any splitting of the timber. They will also withstand multiple removals and re-use without any fear of the head being "chewed-up" by the screwdriver bit. Generally slightly more expensive than some other makes but well worth it in the long run!! I won't choose any others now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for MDF Bought these to attach drawer runners to veneered MDF and they work a treat. Screw in easily and actually pull tight whereas normal wood screws don't seem to go tight in MDF, just keep going round. Would recommend based on this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from why I like Spax screws . I have tried many makes of screw, but there is no doubt in my mind that Spax make one of the best. They are passivated, strong and easy to use and most of all reliable. I suppose I am lucky to have a Screwfix depot nearby, but this does not defer from the fact that they too are reliable, fair and trustworthy . The prices are also very fair. Whilst they may not be quite as cheap as Ebay, you know what you are getting and no funny business, like getting lost in the post or trying for a refund which might never come. Thanks Screwfix.!!
