Rated 5 out of 5 by from MAN Screw! These fixings are some of the best i've ever used. I have used these for a number of constructional timber projects, and have found them to be accurate, easy driving, and super-strong. No need to drill pilot holes, and the partially threaded shank means they pull up nicely. Not cheap - but you can see why. Can't comment on the corrosion resistance, as the fixings outdoors have only been out one year, but no sign of rust yet....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Grip Was a little worried these wouldn't be substantial enough for deck joists, but seem to grip well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use instead of Tmber Drive I bought these and some timber drive screws the ones with the bolt head for a project, and these were easily as good, they drive in really smoothly, I used pilot holes but they will drive in without them. The Torx or TStar head mens no slippage too, expensive but great quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very useful A handful of these bad boys was all it took to tighten up a loose staircase from the underside. The long length, large, load speading head, and high strength make them excellent (but not cheap) when nothing else will do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from spax are the best I regularly use timber screws for joist fixing on decking structures. Now Spax have produced these exceptional timber screws I will be using these from now on. The Torx head gives you a good positive driving experience and as usual you can feel the power as the screws drive home. Only down side is they are a little more expensive than other comparable screws but on performance they win hands down in my book.
