Spit Driva Plus Cavity Fixings Metal 39mm 100 Pack is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good solid fixings Good fixings, but you have to take your time, and as other reviewers have said drill the fixing first so that it operates freely. you might break some, but better broken in your grips than in the plasterboard. prepare the fixings, gently position into the plasterboard, screw it tight, screw the job onto the wall, you'll feel the resistance change as the toggle slides up and engages. great idea, shame about the wasted ones and the 100 item box. 4/5,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant plasterboard fixings I used 35mm screw-in fixings to hold a floor-standing shelf unit against a plasterboard wall and the shelf ripped them straight out immediately; I put Driva Plus fixings in the same holes and they are absolutely rock solid. You do have to pre-screw them first to stop them failing to deploy as the silver coating glues them shut - grip it in grips and power drive a screw into it until the mechanism loosens and then withdraw the screw - which is the only reason I haven't given them 5 stars across the board. Highly recommended.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Good Used these to fit a large heavy mirror to a plasterboard stud wall. Would advise that you pre-screw before fitting into the plasterboard. I also pilot drilled the wall to check there was no obstruction behind plasterboard Don't over-tighten in plasterboard. Good strong fixing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from heavy duty fixings Was doubtful after reading previous reviews, but decided to use these for refitting a Hair Salon where heavy mirrors and fittings needed attaching to plasterboard walls (including insulated board), They performed perfectly, i have now fitted all 100 (using cordless drill) and only had one failure where the toggle didn't deploy, this i believe was due to fitting the screw too fast, if you take your time you can hear/feel the toggle deploy, These are the best fixings, will be getting another box soon

Rated 3 out of 5 by from weak dear plasterboard fixings usable if you pre-drive the screw beforehand & then remove, of the dozen or so l have used so far two broke if they were just driven into the plasterboard & then the securing screw was used. once secured, they offer more security than just the ordinary screw in type.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good but expect to break a few Used these in the past for kitchen wall cabinets. They are strong like normal redidrivas, but with the added advanatage of the clamp toggle at the back, which actually works !! Thee problem with them is that many of the clamp toggles at the back fall off when you insert the screw and tighten it (you can hear them fall off). Out of a pack of 100 i'd say expect 20 or 30 to do this. I found that loosening the toggle before you put them in helps a bit. Unfortunately, they are only available in packs of 100, which is insane. Should they be available in packs of 10 or 20 then i'm sure more people would buy them. But lets face it how often do you need 100?
