Squire Zinc Die-Cast Construction All-Weather Combi Padlock Black 40mm is rated 3.4210526315789473 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Lock Do not buy this padlock. It was used for less than a week before the combination mechanism failed. Note the combination can only be changed using a "stick" provided so failure is the only possible explanation given I use the same pin number for pretty much everything and the stick was binned once the combination was set! took 5 mins to find the grinder and 5 seconds to grind the lock off. this is a RUBBISH lock which is not even cheap!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Padlocks Bought these padlocks to secure the bins outside our store. Good solid padlock , easy to input your own code in. Easy for the staff to use. Weather proof with no problems after being used outside. will buy again if needed for other outside use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from tried five - thumbs down Bought two. Setting the combination was was straight forward. Although, unlocking sometimes took some effort aligning the numbers had to be very accurate so the lock would open - but OK. After a year the wheels seized on one lock, I had not used oil, the lock was used outside with the possibility of a little dirt ingress). With some WD40 and effort managed to get the wheels moving but had inadvertently altered the combination code - lock discarded. No signs of any corrosion though. Bought two more. One lock failed to close after about one month (this had been used very little) - screw fix replaced. The code has to be algined to a fraction of a mm on these two new locks so that they open - I have no confidence that I will be able to open the lock (it can take a lot of patience and time). Not advisable to use in the changing rooms at the gym or to lock your bolt cutters away - I no longer use these last two locks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work Came with initial code 0000. Worked OK. Changed one digit - tested OK. Changed another - closed and never opened again. I am an engineer and no novice to such things.
