Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product Good Riveter could do with a closer clasp when not in use also storage for spanner

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pop and the job is done The gun seems to be well built and made to last. I needed a rivet gun to put in 150 x 4mm stainless steel rivets. The nozzle sizes listed are a bit strange, since there is no 3.2 or 4.8. However, the next size up nozzle works like a charm i.e 5mm nozzle will work on a 4.8mm rivet. I am using the gun with ejection spring.I feel this allows you to work faster compared to not using it. The handle are comfortable and makes the gun a pleasure to use. There is no compartment for the spanner on the gun.I store the spanner in one of the compartments in the mixed rivet pack which I purchased from Screwfix.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Utter rubbish Out of the 12 rivets I used I had to dismantle the gun at least 9 times to release the pin and once with the rivet half compressed. Waste of money and time using this tool. It has been returned!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product Great product - feels well made. Bit more expensive than the budget models, but seems worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality tool Would highly recommend sending abit extra on this compared to the cheaper options out there

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than cheaper options So it costs £10 - £15 more than the Forge Steel alternatives and I bought this after one of those failed miserably. It did however highlight to me just how good this riveter is in comparison. It operates with one hand and has an optional spring to reset and eject the spent rivet. I did need to loosen off the nut on the back a lot to get it to eject them easily. Also be warned the different heads in the body are very tight and the tiny supplied spanner was barely capable of undoing them the first time. This riveter sped through the remainder of the job that the Forge Steel failed to complete. Overall, a great product and highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent heavy duty I bought this riveter after my old one gave up after 30 years. excellent piece of kit, nice and heavy duty, you can really feel the quality. Only one fault I can give, you need big hands to operate, especially if you insert the spring, which I did. Then I took it back out. Other than that, its a good buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Of no use to me I would give this product zero stars if that were an option because I could not make it work. I am not a body builder but I am not a weedy person either. I bought this rivet gun to do a small job with a couple of 5mm rivets. I could not get sufficient purchase or power on the arms of the gun to break the rivet from the pin despite repeated efforts. As a test I tried to pop the smallest diameter rivet and was able to break it but not cleanly and a piece remained stuck in the barrel breaking the product. Screwfix gave me a refund without question which is appreciated. But I'm motivated to write a review so others are aware of the limitations of this device. I was fortunate that my job was portable so took it to a blacksmith who sorted it in a couple of minutes, for a reasonable fee much less than the price of this gun. I did read some reviews of the product before I bought it but didn't scroll down as far as some of the negative ones saying the same as me now.
