Stanley A6BB304SCR512 6Ltr Air Compressor 240V is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value and well made Yes it is quite noisy but most low cost compressors are, this is no noisier. From switch on to full pressure seems quick and without timing it I’d guess it’s about 30 seconds. The unit is light enough to carry about and well balanced. It comes with a 5m air coil which isn’t very high quality but perfectly usable for a DIY setup which is the market this compressor is aimed at. The airline coil doesn’t leak but hasn’t held its coil very well. I’ve only been using this with an air gun and it works well. The quick release connector on the unit is a PCL-XF female which is simple to use, push in to connect and push the holder back to release. There are plenty of PCL-XF male to 1/4 BSP adapters to make this to fit most tools. Two dials show tank pressure and output pressure. My only complaint is the short lead but with suitable knowledge and a screwdriver this 3-core 1mm^2 cable can be easily replaced

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stanley Compressor I reciever my comressor yesterday 04/05/16 and tyied it out in the arternoon and it performed perfectly, I used a blow gun at full power and it did the job. The only problem I found was with the couplings, however that is not the fault of the compressor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well I'm blowed Great for a DIY'er, quiet(for a compressor) and gets up to pressure quickly

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good compressor, bad fittings I bought this compressor for all sorts of uses but mainly to seat tubeless bike tyres onto rims where you need a good blast of air suddenly. It does all this as expected but I have found that the fittings eject the tools violently and unexpectedly should you just put them down wrong seemingly. They must have a very sensitive sleeve on the connector. I ended up taking the first one back. Screwfix as usual were great and changed the unit next day but it was the supplied hose that was the problem, not the compressor itself. The replacement does exactly the same unfortunately. I'm wondering if this is just a feature of these short Euro-type connectors or if they're just cheapo fittings. I'm going to just replace them with the longer type I think rather than mess about any more. Apart from that, it charges up very quickly, though is pretty deafening and annoying in a small garage but I guess you need a larger capacity tank to avoid the frequent recharging. For what it is I'd recommend it but maybe factor in the cost of some decent hose fittings. Incidentally, there is another brand that do this compressor. Exactly the same unit but orange, not yellow. Clearly the same unit with different branding and cheaper. I wanted to buy from SF though as they are good to deal with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Was Blown Away Excellent product at a very reasonable price. I use it for general duties such as tyre inflation, plenty of them. Blow cleaning duties, grills of central heating radiators, hard to reach area in the garage, cleaning the filter of the self condensing tumble dryer and any other task that blown air greatly assists. The charging rate and therefore speed to fill the reservoir is phenomenally quick and the noise not too unpleasant. Finally, easy to transport around the garage, garden and house. Just perfect. I am now looking for other tasks where this product will simplify. Too early to qualify the reliability statement
