Stanley Fatmax Fine Finish Saw 22" is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst saw ever used Avoid. I have had many second fix saws and this one has to be the worst. Poor finish and does not want to track true to a line. A spear and Jackson first fix is a comparable finish but a spear and Jackson first fix will cut a straighter line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handle the Handle? It's a minor irritation and what annoys me probably suits others but since I first used a Fatmax saw from someone else I found them to be a great, comfortable fit for my hand and great for the general maintenance jobs I undertake, so I purchased my own and have continued to periodically as needed. For some reason the new, slightly altered design of the handle just doesn't sit as comfortably in my hand and I'd personally prefer to see the old handles back. All in all though I still find these great general purpose saws and the new handle hasn't swayed me to another brand as yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review Bought this cut thru plywood sheets. does a great job, but you will get some tear out as the teeth are not as fine as i would have hoped for. Bought an Erwin multipurpose blade which i prefer, but this all depends on what you are cutting and the finish you are looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb saw! I have been using this saw for many years and in my opinion you cannot find a better saw! It is universal and gives a lovely cut on soft and hard woods and excellent on plyboard. Also cuts cleanly through plastic and pipes. The length is great for getting into a good rhythm when making long cuts and the teeth maintain their sharpness for a surprisingly long time. Comfortable ergonomic grip with 90/45 degree guides. You cannot make a better investment to your tools!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Saw Great saw. Used so far for garden maintenance and has made light work of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality saw Used one of these to install a tile effect laminate floor, I offset my boards and as a result there was a lot more cutting required, this saw not only went through the boards with ease it also tracks straight and true and with good technique it leaves a great finish. Think it is good value too and will last me a few years!
