Stanley Split Cowhide Leather Driver Gloves Brown Large is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stanley cow hide driver gloves A bit tight on first wear, but they soon loosened off in use. Quality cow hide that is soft and supple, however in only two days DIY level use using tree loppers I noticed that the stitching on both middle fingers is broken and the holes this leaves are getting bigger. Very poor for the price. I will not buy anymore of these as I have had pound shop gardening gloves last longer with heavier use! If you depend on decent gloves for your trade then look at others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gloves I'm clearing a plot of land covered in brambles, so I bought the gloves to protect my hands from the bramble spikes. Happy to say that they worked perfectly and no spikes managed to penetrate the leather. I highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent work gloves These gloves look like they are very expensive, they are well made, nice stitching, they have an elastic cuff which reduces slip from the hands, they slide on nicely and are not over tight like some gloves,I have only had them a couple of days so I don't know how they will stand up to heavy work but I think they'll be ok, for a glove of this type they are excellent value for money and look and feel like the more expensive one's.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HGV Driver If your a HGV driver and your looking for a pair of good quality leather gloves for work, these aren't them. On first impression, they seem sturdy and well made. But as the old adage goes, you can't always rely on first impressions. In the past six months I've had four pairs. Every pair has turned my hands yellow. Holes have appeared in the leather. These holes haven't been caused by wear or damage. The leather seems to just perish. Even though the seams are double stitched, they fail. If your a professional driver and your looking for a pair of hard wearing gloves you can wear every day, theses aren't them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all round glove Yes the dye comes out when new, but a cheap inner glove takes care of that. Can't believe someone has worn these out on the thumb. After trying many a glove for rough garden/building work handling the chainsaw (no not as safety gloves), bricks , rubble , oak and beech split logs, these have not shown any sign of wear after a years use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from comfy, but stain when wet. Bought these gloves for work to save my hands from thorns. I find them comfy to wear and thorns dont penetrate them, the only fault I have found is they will stain your hands orange if they get wet or if your hands are sweaty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from All Brand and no Quality Bought these to replace some old basic rigger gloves. The stitching on both palms gave out after a couple of days and the thumb has now worn through. Also my hands are still yellow from the dye used on these gloves. There are better quality and value gloves available from Screwfix, but I won't be buying Stanley gloves again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from drivers gloves advertised in the catalogue and on the website as drivers gloves, but packaging description describes as general utility, they are too loose a fit to drive in,would be better suited to gardening
