Hilka Pro-Craft Stud Extractor Set 8 Pcs is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke first time being used Required the smallest extractor (4mm) to remove a broken screw from a power tool, gripped into screw but snapped.. Not to impressed..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pound shop quality I bought this set to remove a sheared cap-head screw but the tools refused to bite into the metal and when I looked afterwards the points had been taken off the tops of the cutting helix.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from sub standard I bought these to remove 2 stainless steel studs on my motorbike, after drilling pilot hole to correct size the extractor just refused to bite into metal and actually stripped the threads from the extractor. The metal these are made from are obviously softer than the stainless steel stud. Would not recommend these at all. Tool steel shoud be as hard as taps and dies these are not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Job Done Ordered, delivered (despite the plastic case being smashed) and offending broken stud extracted and all within 24 hours! Well done Screwfix. Only real complaint is the same as other reviewers: make sure you have some way of turning the smaller sizes of extractor - I ended up using mole grips! How about including some sort of tool for the smallest sizes or perhaps increase the shank size so a socket will fit?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stud Extractor ( easy out ) Removed broken/ rusted studs after drilling holes to suit extractor size no problem at all. Very strong, well made and guaranteed. Just wish they had a spanner/socket head fitted to them. Other wise handy kit to have in the toolbox. Mick

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work I bought this to remove a securing screw from a disk brake but the quality of the product meant all that happens is the thread on the stud extractor just wears away. I drilled a bigger pilot hole but still the same with the next stud i tired. I will be returning this back for a full refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Bought the kit to remove a sheared stud and the removal tool ended up shearing off in the pilot hole without applying too much torque....get what you pay for I guess

Rated 4 out of 5 by from stud extractor Bought this kit specifically for one job but needed a set "just in case" for a long time. In this instance the smallest of the set was used and removed the offending broken LPG injector from my truck without any problems at all. The only drawback is the size of the shank to get to grips with if you don't already have a tap and die set where you can use the tap t-bar to grip the shank. The larger you go the easier it is to find an appropriate spanner to get better leverage. All in all a good set that I am sure I will make further use of.
