Tacwise 400ELS 40mm Angled Nailer 230V is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nailer Good tool , easy to load and use . Negatives are nails don't always go all the way home , I would estimate 70% without having to finish them off with a hammer which is not great . Also the flex could have been longer as if nailing into a ceiling I found the plug kept coming out of the extension lead .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant little tool! This is a truly fantastic tool, very well built and easy to use. Powerful action drives the nails home cleanly every time and the tool NEVER jams. Highly recommend this to anybody and you will find a multitude of uses as this makes the old hammer and nails virtually redundant. Superb service as always by my local screwfix store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tacwise 400 els Got the tackwise 400els for fixing down 20 sheets of 5.5mm plywood to several floors, works well, punches nails below surface if you use both hands on the nailer but it did over heat and the drive pin locked up and was not useable, had to go back to job next day and the same thing happened. So hopeing it was a fault with the machine I had, I returned to store and ordered a replacement which arrived the next day and I was able to finish the project.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tacwise nailer Bought this to put some Red Cedar cladding on a Summerhouse at short notice. It does the job but does not drive the nails all the way, you have to finish off with a hammer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from useless Nailer fails to fully insert the nails into even the softest of timbers. Every time leaving the nail protruding by about 1cm even when pressing down onto the back of the nailer. Attempts to hammer in the remainder of the nail fails to work because the tacwise nails are extremely soft and they bend incredibly easily. Complete waste of money and I know why its price is what it is!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tacwise 400ELS 40mm Angled Nai The product is called the "Tacwise 400ELS 40mm Angled Nailer 230V". To me, the clue is in the name; if it's called a 40mm nailer, it should bang 40mm nails in shouldn't it? Wrong. It leaves them about 6mm proud so I have to finish them off with a hammer. The nails are so thin it's difficult not to bend them over. The manual troubleshooter just says that the nailer might not put the nails all the way down if it is an unsuitable material. Nails are usually used in wood and I'm putting the nails into softwood timber. Ease of use and reliability are good but I wish I hadn't bought the thing and stuck to the trusty hammer. Very disappointed. :(
