Tacwise Duo 35 / 30mm Corded Nailer / Stapler 230V is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Double Failure! Very impressed initially, lightweight and easy to use. First one worked perfectly for 2 days then jammed. Cleared easily but the it jammed again the next day. Cleared but then jammed again. After clearing it did not work. Replacement was obtained next day. It worked perfectly for one day and then jammed. After clearing it wouldn't work. At this price I thought I had bought a good nailer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tacwise Duo 35 Bought to fix lathes with 7/8" divergent point SS staples. This was the second one as previous one became erratic after only @ 2500 staples which was a pain. Emailed Sales@Tacwise for advice as to why but no response. Otherwise happy with performance. An extra half a metre of lead length would be helpful for our particular use. Optional plastic nose comes off and gets lost easily. Instructions advise against using extension leads.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good idea but flawed product I have to start by saying that I really REALLY wanted this to work for us as I'm sick of humping a compressor around. However, for our application, the results were not acceptable. We use a pneumatic nail gun to attach glazing bead to our bespoke doors after installation. The timbers can be softwood (Hemlock), hardwood (Utile) or oak (European). The small pin hole left in the timber by the pneumatic gun can easily be filled/waxed and the gun doesn't need to be applied to the work piece with abnormal pressure. Unfortunately, this Tacwise gun needs to be pressed so firmly against the bead that it marks it even before firing in the pin. If adequate pressure isn't applied, it doesn't drive the brad fully home. Even when pressing the top of the gun with your other hand, brads will sometimes not fully enter hardwood or oak beads. This is immensely frustrating as it requires the use of a punch to hammer home the pin. The dent left in the work piece after a successful firing was perhaps the deal breaker for us (please see attached photo). Top marks to Screwfix customer services for their help. Zero marks for Tacwise who didn't even have the decency to reply to my email. I have since returned the Tacwise gun and purchased one of the dinky Stanley compressors (again, from Screwfix). The results with this, coupled with the old pneumatic gun, are excellent. To sum up - if finish isn't important to you (or the result can't be seen) and you're using this on softwood, then I would recommend it. Otherwise, no. Thanks again to Screwfix for their help. 10 out of 10 for customer service.
