Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value for a drillbit Really solid and sturdy construction. This was given as a present and the recipient was pleased. Will perform excellently when drill stone work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HOT KNIFE .. BUTTER..? A drill bit I have paid nearly ten times as much for in the past! It was bought with the outside tap kit from screwfix and you might think that its too big for a DIY 1/2 inch chuck?? Its fine, as its stepped down at the end and fitted my "el cheapo" drill no bother at all. It zipped through eight inches of concrete block in less than five seconds. I recommend these wholeheartedly. Complete bargain !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value Needed a 16mm bit to fit an outside tap kit, this has a slightly reduced shank so it fits a normal sized drill. Didn't expect much to be honest at the price, but it went through the rendering and 2 sets of red brick no problem at all, and that was using a cordless dewalt. Excellent value, was expecting to pay at least a tenner for something this size. Highly recommended! Whether it'd last with regular use I can't say, but for the average diy'er it's a complete bargain, and I'm sure it'll do plenty more if required, doubt I'll need another unless I become a plumber!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worth it for a quick fix Ok so i bought this bit to install a CCTV system, the ability to drill a decent sized hole through the walls to allow cables to be run was a must and it did exactly what it should. For the price I'd expect it to be not very good and fail after time but it kept going strong until we had to go through a very deep exterior wall which unfortunately was the end of the drill bit 3/4 of the way through the tip was so blunt it was just spinning in the hole. But after drilling 12 holes through pretty tough 30cm thick solid brick walls it did as designed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good but check quality I've had 2 of these bits. The 1st was great, drilled many holes through brick with relative easy given the drill used. Given to a relative with a new house as figured I'd had my use. 2nd wasn't as great, however, as it was not perfectly straight. The shank was inserted correctly (I.e. Straight), the bend was towards the tip so didn't chisel away as well and caused a lot more vibration than the previous bit.
