Titan TTB276DRL 850W Percussion Drill 230-240V is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 64.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Absolute rubbish I purchased this drill as didn't think it was justified to spend a lot of money on a drill I would only occasionally use. I was impressed with the performance and power however the build quality is poor. The first drill I used the chuck locked and I couldn't remove the drill bit. Screwfix replaced for a new one. The second drill, on the second hole using a 12mm drill bit into concrete, the drill pretty much fell apart in my hands. The screws came loose and ball bearings fell out!! I replaced this drill for the Erbauer, hopefully this will be a bit more reliable. On the positive side you get a 2 year manufactures warranty!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Drill OK Chuck Useless A very frustrating product as the drill itself feels well made and works well. However, as many other have already stated the chuck is useless. After around 20 holes in concrete block the chuck would not release. I took the drill back to Screwfix who, as ever, swapped it without fuss for a DeWalt. They even gave me a new bit as mine was stuck fast in the Titan chuck. Sometimes the old saying 'buy cheap - buy twice' is true.....don't buy unless they fix the chuck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! When my old Black and Decker finally died, I decided that I really needed a new drill. And in a hurry, because I was halfway through a job. I saw this, and thought that it was cheap and would probably not be much cop, but at least it would get me out of a hole. I don't have much call for big drills, so if it didn't last all that well I wasn't going to be heartbroken. How wrong was I? I got it home and was amazed at the quality. It breezed through masonry of all types without breaking a sweat, using a 16mm drill for wall anchor bolts. It's solid, nothing on it feels in any way like a low cost tool. I'd have no hesitation in using this professionally. It comes in a sturdy blow-moulded case with metal latches too, which is far more than I would have expected. Maybe a brand name one will be better, but I can't see how. Especially not for two or three times the price. There's nothing that I can fault on this at all. Nice one Screwfix! I now have the cordless one to go with this, and that is equally good. I'm delighted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Value for Money I bought this drill to replace a Bosh hammer drill which I had stolen. This Titan drill appears to be equal to my old one at a 1/3 of the price. Up to now it is doing all the work that I needed it for and I'm totally happy with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor on three counts The chuck problem mentioned by others has not been solved. Dangerously strong hand grip required on the chuck to hold a 10mm masonry bit . Then two adjustable wrenches required to release it (tried it with one wrench against the motor but smoked). First hole took far too long, the percussion action is very poor, second hole and the motor started smelling so I gave up. Resorted to my 15 year old drill with partially stripped gearbox to complete the job. Even with it slipping under load it drilled the holes in half the time. Thanks to Screwfix for the brilliant returns policy, I'll be ordering a proper one.
