Rated 4 out of 5 by from Here goes number 3 This is my third titan breaker in six years, and my first one is still banging away. The second one died a slow and noisy death. I have worked them hard and they don't complain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titan Breaker Great value tool. Broke up a 6ft x 12ft concrete slab 6 inches thick in just over an hour. This would have taken me all day and alot of sweat using a sledge hammer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the job Makes easy work of breaking up old concrete floors. quieter and quicker that the old (borrowed!) one that died. Or you could hire a similar one for two weeks for the same money. No brainier, isn't it?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good bit of kit Bought as I had a large concrete patio to pull up. Buying this was better value than hiring one, as I needed to break it up in small goes around my real job. Easy to set up, easy to operate, and was breaking 6 inch thick concrete with ease. Was going to sell it when I am finish, but it might just slide into my permanent tool collection!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stonking! I have just demolished part of our house, including removing a 1990s foundation wall and footing. This wonderful machine made that possible, including breaking up the footing slab, which was 300mm (one foot) thick and embedded in heavy clay. I topped up the grease reservoir each day, and although the machine became hot in heavy use it didn't use much grease. With this machine, I am unstoppable! Next!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK breaker for occasional use This breaker is a better tool than an SDS drill for breaking large areas of concrete and demolition. It is the same price as hiring a machine. The downside is it does vibrate badly. I would not use this as a daily use trade tool or you could risk getting vibration white finger. You must use with some high quality gloves. But it does a good job and is very heavy and very powerful. If you have one slab to break up buy it instead of hiring. The two year guarantee is effectively a two year hire. Just get good PPE to go with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good breaker Just had to buy my 2nd titan breaker after 8 years of hard hammering its given over, so ordered a new one and it came the next day. as a builder I I highly recommend this breaker to both trade and diyers. It breaks 6" concreat all day long but 8" is abit of a struggle but will do it. Really good breaker

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful bit of kit We recently moved into a house which has a carp pond built like a WW2 pill box. This thing is thirty foot long and twenty foot wide. It's walls are around two feet thick, eighteen inches high and are made of closely bonded concrete plus rubble and the whole thing is built on a concrete apron six inches deep and four feet across. I only needed a heavy breaker for this one job and I chose this one as it was at the right price point. So far I have removed just about everything above ground and around twenty feet of apron. I am still using the first tip I put in and the breaker is still working well. It does tend to get used in fairly short bursts, enough to break out say two or three wheelbarrow loads which will be keeping the internal temperature down, so it is possible it wouldn't do so well under continual use. So far it has handled this monster carp pond with ease. For the money paid, if it only does this job it will have paid for itself although, the way it's performing currently it looks like it will do the whole job without me even having to sharpen the tip and this concrete is seriously hard! This is a very good value budget breaker and I would recommend to any DIY'er.
