Titan TTB283GRD 2350W 9" Angle Grinder 230V is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 158.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beast Of A Tool ! Well made, solid and powerful angle grinder with a buttery smooth starting but powerful motor. The multi position handle and easy-to-move guards are really useful. It's heavy enough to dampen the vibration of extended grinding sessions but light enough that working for long periods with it isn't torture. Disk changes are easy, (good quality disk wrench is included), and it will cut metal like the proverbial hot knife through butter. I picked this grinder up from the Swindon (Bruce Street Bridges) store less than 10 minutes after my 10 year old grinder finally died. I'm very happy with my purchase. I can't really rate the reliability until it's done a few more hours of hard labour, but I'm optimistic that it'll last a long time :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product Just what I ordered and as I ordered on line it cost me no money to get the product ordered and delivered within two days. I am at least 30 miles from nearest store and I didn't have the extra expense of travelling to collect . Thankyou excellent service

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice tool- joke of a case Tool works fine- but you can't leave the blade on to put in case. I had to cut a slot in the end for the blade to poke through and doctor the molding around the grinder. Very poor design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality tool I cant fault I bought this to cut slabs for a new patio I was laying as for this price it made no sense to hire one. It's a great price but if you did not know I think you would say this cost a lot more, The ergonomics are good and the vibration and weight is not problem either. Even the cutting disc it came with was a quality one, has the power to cut slabs easily and in use will pay for itself many times over. Also has a quality "look and feel" too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not reliable enough I have now taken two of these back and bought a different make. Both of them had the same problem; the motor failed. I hadn't used them much and am disappointed because when they work they were as good as my new more expensive one. Lots of time wasted returning them but Screwfix have been great. Cannot recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product Was a bit concerned with the brand as never had any Titan tools but been proven wrong. This is a very good DIY grinder. Used it to cut paving slabs and concrete blocks, with Erbauer diamond disk it did the job with ease. Rotating handle is a nice feature too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job - check the blade Easy to set up and adjustable trigger handle makes this product ideal. Cut up a caravan chassis, BUT only comes with massonary cutting disk; always worth checking before you get home ;-) Great choice of guards.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disposable Product For a relatively cheap 9" grinder it's ok, but the output bearing has a limited life (what do you expect at that price?) and since all Titan tools are completely unsupported anywhere* (except for the odd carbon brush) when any part of it fails, the whole thing goes straight into the skip. They don't tell you this in the catalogue and this is why I give it a poor value rating. In use, it's fine - plenty of power, soft start, good case, decent lead, good solid housing - even spare brushes, but since it's totally throw-away it's not a good buy. For nearly the same money, buy a real one instead. The rotating handle thing is a gimmick. Yes it rotates, but why bother? Also grit gets into the rotating joint which tends to lock it anyway. ( * "Titan Power Tools (UK)" listed by Companies House has a status of "dormant company" with only 2 people associated with it. )
