Titan TTB286CSW 190mm Circular Saw 230V is rated 4.25 out of 5 by 96.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disk bore size! Looked like a great saw for what I wanted and a great price. However, I wanted it to cut high quality sheet plywood without getting tearrout. So I wanted to fit a 60 tooth blade from the start. However, I couldn't find a 60T blade with a 16mm bore and didn't want to use a bush. Most of the saws in this category have a 30mm bore. I took it back and changed it for it's big brother, which is bigger and heavier than I really wanted. Hey-ho

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impressive value Impressive value for this entry level machine, it's solid and well made. The laser guide was a really bonus for cutting straight lines and it was easy to adjust for depth. The depth gauge and angle isn't that accurate, you need to do a test cut.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok but had to exchange Bought this to run down some osb and 18mm ply. Really nice cut and took no effort. Laser useful and soft start very good. Only issue is that after 10 days of light use it just stopped working. Completely dead, even the laser. Took it back and exchanged no questions asked. Will try this one and hope a got a dud!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Machine Very high quality, well built machine for the money. The laser guide makes you realise how difficult it is to cut a straight line freehand. The dust extraction vent is a very odd shape: to connect a vacuum cleaner I had to make an adaptor from a piece of flexy conduit and lots of sticky tape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titan circular saw This saw looks very well made, rumbles a little on start up but maybe that's the soft start. Ripped down a pine internal door across both lengths. Wow this saw really cuts nice, and with the lasor cutting guide its much easier to get a nice straight cut. Time will tell how it lasts, but for the price it's a bargain

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, Great price! Recently used this Titan Circular saw, and was very impressed with the product. Has a very handy laser guide to increase the accuracy of cuts, and the soft start is a nice feature. The saw has a good weight to it, feels positive and effortlessly cuts through wood. The only *very* minor gripe is there is no way to attach a bag for the sawdust... But this is being picky. Excellent value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tool. This circular saw is excellent value for money. Yes, like most power tools, it has one or two idiosyncrasies but are more than compensated for by it's cut quality and handling. The saw has plenty of power for regular joinery use, the blade runs true and gives precise cuts both square and angled especially when used in conjunction with a straight edge and can even be relied upon when cutting freehand with the aid of the built in and accurate laser guide which is quite unusual, particularly for a tool at such a low price-point. Easy to adjust tilt for angled cuts or adjust depth of cut. This saw feels comfortable in the hand, is solidly constructed yet not too heavy and the supplied blade gives a very acceptably clean cut.. As with other Titan power tools, it also comes in a huge storage case ( perhaps a little overkill but useful too) which allows the saw to be easily put back in without it being a puzzle to get the cable and tool to fit back in after use. As for it's shortcomings....well it rattles a bit on startup but the soft start more than makes up for it and once up to speed is reasonably quiet with little or no vibration so for me the start-up sound, which you soon get used to is really a non-issue. The adjustable cutting width guide is probably it's worst attribute as it flexes a little too much for my liking but as mentioned earlier, for precise cuts, I much prefer a clamped straight edge anyway or use it to cut freehand so the weak guide is no deal-breaker. The saw's only other idiosyncrasy as mentioned by other reviewers is that the blade guard very occasionally catches/sticks on the work-piece ( depending on thickness) when first starting the cut...that is easily remedied by quickly flicking the blade guard lever so again not an issue that would spoil the cut. Would I purchase the same saw again if this one got stolen? Definitely and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
