Titan TTB586GTM 600W 240V Straight Shaft Grass Trimmer is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 25585.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough and powerful Bought to replace Bosch one that was never up to the job, this one is much more industrial and powerful, twin cords so cuts really fast.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Powerful but flawed Heavy due to punchy motor, but in use is well balanced so not really a problem. What is a problem, however is the line feed system which is useless. For about 5 mins everythig was fine. Having switched on & off a couple of times the auto line feed system coupled with a very brittle cutting line resulted in breakage of the line inside the spool. Managed to ease it out & start again only for it to recur another 3 times. I then realised that I`m not going to resolve the issue, took it back & got a full refund with no problems. Other reviewers seem to have come to the same conclusion, can`t believe it ever had much field testing - a shame it`s spoilt by this flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super strimmer The fact this strimmer has adjustable shaft length and working head angle adjustment as well as the fully adjustable support handle then it's easy to make it very comfortable to use. Very powerful and a super long lead means hassle free working. The line feed worked well and it looks easy to rewind the line cassette with new line when the time comes. I have a number of Titan tools and I'm very impressed with this one especially as it's easy to balance for those of use with bad backs

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You Get What You Pay For I am used to using high end professional petrol powered strimmers/brushcutters so I was very pleasantly surprised by the build quality and at how well this machine dealt with weeds etc. that is when it was actually cutting! Sadly the auto feed mechanism is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. To avoid the line vanishing into the cassette you need to stop about every 20 seconds to push the manual feed button on the cutter head. If you get over enthusiastic it will involve a good 5 min extracting the line. A spare spool is a good investment so you don’t have to spend time re winding the line if it gets tangled up on the spool (this can be done later). On the whole the machine cuts well provided you only cut in short bursts and manually feed, and it costs less than a spool of line for the machines I use when “working”. It is no better or worse than other electric strimmers I have used

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing strimmer I got this Titan strimmer, as I had already bought a Titan Scarifier and was so impressed with it, I thought, I'd stick with the same brand. I wasn't disappointed, as this machine, to me, is like a petrol one, as it just blasts everything in it's path. The cable is long enough, for my small bit of garden, which is great. It was easy to assemble, just 4 screws to hold the guard in place and off it went. Plus, I didn't need to 'knock' it once, to get the line to come out, as it worked by itself, so I don't know where, others are getting that from? I used it, to cut close to the fence, on the grass itself and up against the wall - all, proved no hassle for this machine. So, I'd recommend this machine, in a minute, as it is perfect for the job and at the price, it's a no-brainer!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing. Great for the first 30seconds out of the box but then the line snapped.... the auto feed does not work and I am fed up if having to take the spool apart and feeding the line back through every few strokes of the strimmer . Pity because when it does work, it's brilliant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best one yet out of five Lots of complaints about the spool autofeed. Me too, until I started bonking the head on the ground every few seconds then it worked perfectly. Unfortunately this resulted in a progressively shortened handle but a hose clip cured that.
