Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very dangerous guard The saw itself feels solid, having used other peoples saws made by better brands, the blade is decent, the power and movement are nice. The dust bag does a mediocre job, but that's forgivable for the price. The angle cut is not trustworthy, but if you mark out the wood and check each cut you can get accurate cuts. However after about 4 days of using it to cut wood for my kitchen subfloor and new floorboards (all pine) it failed. I had cut a floorboard and as I span down the blade and brought it back to its start position the safety guard hit the blade shattering it into about 20 pieces and sent flying about 30ft out the back of the saw. The worst safety mechanism I have ever seen, it was so wobbly anyway I should have expected. The worst part was the saw physically jumped as the impact with the guard was so severe. I will be saving for another, but I will wait until I can afford a much better quality item with a metal guard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titan mitre saw Great piece of kit and value for money. I have a few Titan products and they never disappoint. My only critsisum would be the lack of laser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ive been using this for around a year. It's an excellent bit of kit at an excellent price. Bevels and compounds are quite accurate. A laser would make it perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quality lower end saw I bought one of these for a short term solution while my higher end saw was being repaired. I started to use it on major refurbishment job and my fellow tradesmen it has not let me down yet it has now cut a couple of thousand pieces of timber on site and remains in use with no issues would recommend to anyone. The only thing i would change is have use of a laser guide for a little bit more speed but other than than that no complaints.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Newbie having difficulty Hi, I'm new to the world of power mitre saws, and am having difficulty setting this one up precisely. I am cutting pelmet and cornice for a new kitchen, and both the 0 on the bevel, and the 45 degrees on the mitre, do not have a very positive stop, and I seem to end up trying to judge by eye on the scales. I have done several trial cuts, and both the bevel and mitre are just out - enough that when offered up together the resulting joint is not quite 'flat' and not quite 90 degrees. May be just my inexperience . . .
