Titan TTB599BNS 2000W 355mm Chop Saw 230V is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Value Metal Chop Saw Another quality product by Titan I can't rate Titan products highly enough they just perform brilliantly and seem to last for ever for a fraction of the price of the big name products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value chop saw Bought this as a replacement for a similar 6 year old nu-tool version, so I was confident that I knew what I was getting. I use these saws for cutting scaffold tube legs for stage decking and they do the job well. Once the vice fence is set up with a set square they power through the tubes quickly. Hard to beat for the price - recomended

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value Good machine at the price. I am using it to cut 4mm box and after some minor adjustment, I'm getting good square cuts. Overall very happy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saw good. Blade rubbish! This chop saw is great value . but the disk is the worst one I've ever used! Wears down quicker than the Trunking I was cutting! Come on screw fix do something about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent For price, can't complain - squareness could be an issue, need spirit level to make sure work piece and saw are the same...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price Bought one of these for the price and warranty its fantastic it cuts great currently using it for 6mm angle its £10 for two cutting discs so bargain the only down side to this is the vice has an angle measure witch is not accurate it also doesn't come with a machined vice witch you carnt expect for this price probably will keep buying this this as its half the price of household witch are basically the same with the cheep vises eg draper chop saw same features cost £180 bottoms line it comes down to buying this for £80 witch is unbelievable or spending £220 to £300 one with a metal cutting blade for better accuracy and machined vice beware thou metal cutting blades are very expensive usually 60-80 pounds

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs fettling 2 work properly Badly set up when arrived. Blade was misaligned. Angle reading is well out too (about 6 degrees), had to mark a new reading point after setting up blade angle & using set square(captive nut is welded on so no adjustment). The blade retaining button is very poorly made, was jammed when I received it, frequently jams since, due to poor production quality (not perfectly round, jams in housing). Last but by no means least (!) - the work clamp has so much play in the slider that no matter how tight I tightened it, when cutting 50x50x4mm angle iron, the clamp popped up a few mm mid cut with the potential to jam/shatter the blade. I fixed this by fabricating a 2mm aluminium spacer under the deck on the slider, works fine now. The motor is reasonable but not really powerful, slows if very much pressure applied. So overall I would say poor quality, but it is cheap compared to premium brands. Would I recommend it - yes, probably, but only if you're happy fettling it before using it for the first time, took me an hour or so to make it usable. I need accurate cuts for fabricating steel items, makes welding easier, as it arrived it was pretty useless for me. If you just want rough, inaccurate cuts then it would be OK as delivered. I've not tried a premium one though, for all I know they may have similar problems. Not sure about reliability yet as only set up then made 1 test cut. The quick adjuster will be a real time saver though.
