Titan TTL632CHN 40cm 1.9hp 35cc Petrol Chainsaw is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 44.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Budget Saw Comes pre-assembled with one extra chain and plug spanner, but that's it. The correct oils and sharpening tools will need to be bought in addition. Safety checking and adjusting the chain was simple enough. Petrol and chain oil filled up (it's easy to over fill the chain oil) and started up quickly enough. My only criticism is that you can't fit a safety shoe through the handle, to keep the saw safely planted when starting it on the floor. The hand brake worked perfectly, but felt a little flimsy. Once cutting, the saw never complained, even when cutting 18" thick logs. With no effort, I got six trees down and chopped in less four hours. I used about a litre of chain oil and just over a litre of two stroke petrol. The chain did require a little adjustment and sharpening, but, that said, it was probably less than I expected. An online video on how to use and maintain the saw would make life easier and safer. Hopefully making users aware, that if you don't check it over properly, things like chains coming off will happen. Also some more accessories, a storage bag, for example, would be great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good once started Bought this. Took it out of the box and one of the chrome bolts holding the blade on fell off ........ The other bolt was just sbout to fall off. Check this carefully before you use it and I'm afraid you will have to read the instructions. I've used it a couple if times now and it's an absolute cow to start from cold. Drinks chain oil. Having said all of that once it's goung this is a good piece of kit. Overall pretty satisfied

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Check bolts secure often Bought as lightweight & husbands old one was very heavy for me. Very pleased however after about an hour of continuous use the chain flew off as bolts had loosened. Other reviews suggest checking bolts initially and then often during use, I should have acted on this advice sooner, I was lucky not to get hurt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titon Petrol Chainsaw A very useful bit of equipment. I have today completely removed and cut up a large shed. It was like slicing butter and saved me from having a heart attack, had I used an ordinary saw. Stopping and starting was reliable. I think the secret is to get an accurate two stroke mix 40 to 1. I suspect those who have trouble getting it started have not accurately measured the mix. It reminded me of my friend 50 years ago who had an Aerial Leader motor cycle. When following him it was like being in a fog through his inability to mix 2 stroke carefully. Also I found the chain needed constant adjustment, and the oil lubricant goes quickly. However with accurate care and attention I feel this machine will last a long time and is excellent value for the small outlay

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good powerful saw Did a bit of research and settled for this one. There are a few reviews about the nuts falling off and chain becoming loose during use. As with all chainsaws, after a few minutes of use chains always need tightening. Simple! Started straight away and job done. Great little saw 4 stars overall as its says ready to use, but nuts and chain did need a little bit of maintenance to start

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressed I needed a small chainsaw to drop a couple of small trees and generally tidy up a lot of pre-felled timber in our large (5-acre) garden. Initially, I was going to buy either McCulloch or Husqvarna unit but trade reviews on this unit were good so I jumped in, and glad I did. The saw comes pre-assembled and set up, so apart from reading the instructions (make an effort boys!) was quick to fill with appropriate fluids and fired up easily. (If you've not used a chainsaw before, YouTube Husqvarna video really worth watching, especially in terms of how to hold saw to start it up, and general safe use.). Most of the criticisms of budget chainsaws seem to be around either firing up cold or firing up hot. This unit does both easily and the balance of the tool is perfect for me as a novice. Keep an eye on the oil level as it uses it quicker than I expected, but it's cheap. Also check the chain tension after 10 minutes as it develops a fair bit of slack pretty quickly - this is apparently normal and it's easy enough to nip up the tension by slackening off the two hex nuts on the bar and giving the adjuster a small turn. A very nice tool, powerful and sharp enough for most things I’l ever need to do - clearly being made by someone who knows what they're doing. A bargain, and less scary than I feared.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from titan petrol chainsaw just bought one after reading reviews must say it is very good. cut through 10 inch tree trunk no problem at all what a bargain.would recommend it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a cracking tool Bought this to bring down one large and two small trees. I actually took the time to read the manual for once and recommend anyone buying this to do the same. Lest get the bad bits out the way first, The saw comes ready assembled, but NOT READY FOR USE. CHECK THE CHAIN TENSION AND CHECK THAT THE ADJUSTER IS TIGHT, mine wasn't. Other than that it really is very good, felled the trees and then cut them up, even cut down the 27 inch stump (in wedges). Don't be fooled by the price, this is a very good piece of kit.
