Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Screws As with other SS screws purchased these for a additional sizes needed, Again if using Hard or Knotty Wood, Drill pilot Hole, Easy to Use Strong Screws which will last. Well worth the Extra money for a Good screw for the Elements.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great screws Now, I always use stainless steel on every job which may be damp (which in the Scottish Borders and an old house is EVERY job!! As previous reviewers have noted, the necks are soft and even I, with a hand screwdriver can wind the head off, but you get to feel how far to go - I always tighten by hand. This pack on offer was a GREAT DEAL.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD A2 STAINLESS SCREWS Living in a exposed seaside location these are value for money for anti corrosion .Watch the torque on your driver /drill as these screws are "soft" and you will wind head off .use a pilot drill or clearance first.Don't think its poor manufacture its just stainless of this type is easy to over drive with the new powerful torque drills

Rated 4 out of 5 by from weatherproof screw! the ONLY screw to be trouble-free in very wet conditions, but if you are going to drill into hard wood, remember to pre-drill or even fix with a steel screw then pull out and fit the stainless steel one in - a bit of a bother, but these will snap into oak even if you're careful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Ultra Trade Pack A reasonable price for screws that will last for decades, even outside. The wood will rot away long before these guys rust. Good grip and no need for pilot holes in softwood. Avoid the long, skinny sizes as the heads can shear off when screwing them in - but all of the sizes in this trade pack are fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose. They may be stainless steel but they are also soft steel. I recommend a dip in grease before driving them in to reduce the stress on the head. Pros: they don't corrode and, if you can get them in, they'll stay looking good. Cons: they are far too soft for normal use so the heads snap off far too easily - cheesy is the word. It is essential to provide pilot holes for them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from best outdoor screws You have to work out what you want these screws to do! Yes I agree the stainless steel is soft, it is easy to destroy the head if the driver is not square and they can shear but once in place THEY DO NOT CORRODE!! We have become so used to just pushing a screw into wood without predrilling so either drill a clearance hole or push a Turbogold screw of the same size into the wood first to cut the thread. I have used these screws for fencing and gates for years and would use no other!
