Ultra Screw Woodscrews Double Countersunk 5 x 80mm 100 Pack is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value screws Stainless for me living on the Cornish coast is always going to be the choice for external work. These screws do what they say on the tin. All driven hard with Makita drivers and not one damaged or torn off head - excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used in oak window boards I'd previously bought the same size screws in the turbo range which are zinc plated, but having found out through luck and any iron around oak when damp can cause the tannin in the wood to turn black. Even thoughid already plugged the board, I whipped them out and put these in. No snapage as they were through holes into brown plugs so can't comment on there performance. Didn't look as aggressive as the turbo range. Overall they are rated as A2 which are fresh/rainwater resistant. If you require saltwater for use in marine then you require A1 stainless steel which are quite a bit more expensive. I did contempt dropping a screw in a bucket and leaving it for a few months but I'm positive they will stand up to any corrosion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stainless Steel Screws Used with a pilot hole seemed to work well, as I live by the sea I hope they are as corrosion resistant as predicted

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A bit on the soft side I needed some external screws and being stainless steel, I thought these would be ideal. However they are just a bit on the soft side. The slightest of bit slip will wreck the head leaving it impossible to remove or tighten further. Now it may be down to my own poor technique, but within the first 12 out of the box, I rounded the head on 3 and had to unscrew with pliers. Screwfix were great when I took them back as 'damaged' and gave me a refund. I swapped for some TurboGold in the same size which only cost a little more. If you really need stainless steel and don't need to disassemble whatever you're screwing together then I'm sure these are just fine, so long as you're careful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Stainless Screws Used to fix the rails of a new fence to the upright posts. Very strong but ensure you have the screwdriver bit square on and the right size bit as it is easy to damage the screw head.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stainless screws Doubt I'll be around to claim on the 99 year guarantee.... The square drive head is great BUT if you don't drive the things in dead square it is easy to round it out and thus make the screw impossible to drive in. Apart from that they seem to work well
