Vitrex Fan-Fold Underlay Board 9.6m² is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but need to take care Using this under vinyl planks, so far so good, does 'exactly what it says on the tin'. Be gentle when unfolding, the joints separate very easily, I'm having too use carpet tape to keep them together where parted. The product 'snags' very easily (can tear with a fingernail) so don't leave exposed, I'm laying just ahead of the flooring to avoid this. Overall the compressive strength appears impressive, which is what I bought it for. I can't comment on reliability, as I have only just installed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's even warm to the touch! Put this under some thin Lino in a bathroom. There was enough in the pack for two layers. It was soft to walk on, improved the thermal feel under foot and seems to have good sound deadening qualities. Only time will tell as to its continued performance and reliability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from absolute rubbish came in a box, big dents in the product that wouldnt come out so already it was unuseable. opened it out & each of the fans split at the seam leaving me with thin strips rendering the dpc feature useless. so dissapointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it! Bought this to use with luxury vinyl clic flooring and was not disappointed. I did look at cheaper alternative underlays but I'm glad I settled for this. The thickness is just right for vinyl click flooring as the flooring joints are not as flexible as laminate flooring. Levels imperfections yet ensures the sturdiness of the clic flooring is retained. Worth the spend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, simple product Using this under a budget quality "Click" thin MDF-based laminate plank floor. Screwfix counter staff remarked how light the box was, but you get 10 square metres (enough for 3-m x 3-m room). This is not a roll of fragile foam like packing material, but fairly strong dark grey, substantial dense foam which can be laid out "as is", or separated into easy to manage and lay, planks. Width is about 25-cm. Also acts as DPM. Dents and footprints seem to recover, but this does give it a noticable spongy feel, despite being only 3-mm thick. The slightly cheaper cross-linked foams might not be spongy feeling, but are more likely to compress. What is immediately noticable is how warm your feet feel when you walk on it, testament to the insulating properties. Probably best suited to heavier, thicker laminates, but would definitely use again, maybe to insulate a wall surface? Three stars for reliability as early days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As good as expensive options I'm using this to underlay click vinyl tiles and level small imperfections in a newly screeded concrete floor. It is more supportive than the standard foam underlays used for laminate but still deforms enough to take out minor ridges and cracks (up to 2mm I'd say# without the need to latex the floor. Because its quite thin #3mm max) you also don't get that spongy feel that you sometimes do with foam based versions. It wouldn't work on very uneven floors but for small issues its better than having to use messy self levelling compounds and very easy to position. 3 star reliability since its only just been done, no other reason
