Vitrex Fan-Fold Underlay Board 9.6m² is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not suitable for click LVT I bought this as it said it was suitable for click lock LVT tiles. I have 4.2mm tiles, quite thick but also slightly flexible so needed something more robust than the standard foams. It says it's suitable so that's what I expected. I went with 3mm over other 1.5mm and 2mm to absorb some floor irregularities from an overfoor heating system and where rooms had been joined. It's fine for under foot, better than the cheap foams for sure. But don't even think about putting any point pressure on it. After the entire floor was laid we moved a sofa in and I immediately noticed the floor had compressed resulting in a dent where the feet were which did not return to shape. The same happened with the fridge. I spent the weekend ripping up the sections I could access and adding 3mm MDF panels to support areas I knew feet will be, such as where the kitchen cabinets will go, also causing damage to some tiles so I've now also had to buy more tiles. I think this should say suitable for LVT only in low load scenarios. Basically our entire floor is compromised. I imagine it will need replacing very soon as it doesn't feel up to the job of resisting pressure like shoe heels long term.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but need to take care Using this under vinyl planks, so far so good, does 'exactly what it says on the tin'. Be gentle when unfolding, the joints separate very easily, I'm having too use carpet tape to keep them together where parted. The product 'snags' very easily (can tear with a fingernail) so don't leave exposed, I'm laying just ahead of the flooring to avoid this. Overall the compressive strength appears impressive, which is what I bought it for. I can't comment on reliability, as I have only just installed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's even warm to the touch! Put this under some thin Lino in a bathroom. There was enough in the pack for two layers. It was soft to walk on, improved the thermal feel under foot and seems to have good sound deadening qualities. Only time will tell as to its continued performance and reliability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from absolute rubbish came in a box, big dents in the product that wouldnt come out so already it was unuseable. opened it out & each of the fans split at the seam leaving me with thin strips rendering the dpc feature useless. so dissapointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it! Bought this to use with luxury vinyl clic flooring and was not disappointed. I did look at cheaper alternative underlays but I'm glad I settled for this. The thickness is just right for vinyl click flooring as the flooring joints are not as flexible as laminate flooring. Levels imperfections yet ensures the sturdiness of the clic flooring is retained. Worth the spend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As good as expensive options I'm using this to underlay click vinyl tiles and level small imperfections in a newly screeded concrete floor. It is more supportive than the standard foam underlays used for laminate but still deforms enough to take out minor ridges and cracks (up to 2mm I'd say# without the need to latex the floor. Because its quite thin #3mm max) you also don't get that spongy feel that you sometimes do with foam based versions. It wouldn't work on very uneven floors but for small issues its better than having to use messy self levelling compounds and very easy to position. 3 star reliability since its only just been done, no other reason
