Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back WERA I bought this bit as description in catalogue said it would fit directly into impact driver & I thought it would be useful for tight spaces as shorter than a 50mm bit. Well it didn't fit my Makita 18v on its own, still have to use a bit holder. The tip soon became worn after driving a dozen 40mm screws into softwood 3x2. It didnt shatter but became too worn to use without camming out & chewing screw heads up. Changed to 49mm bit in the same Maxxtor range. Same result. Went to drill case & ended up using an old Wera bit. In my humble opinion as a lifelong DIYer, the Wera bits were far superior. I have used them for years with no problems. Usually very impressed with Screwfix but please start stocking Wera again or I'll be going to T**lstation!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What rubbish I bought 2 of these to replace some Wera ones. By the end of the first day I had none. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. Heads sheared off. One did it within the first 20 minutes. We were using a DeWalt impact driver for a timber stud wall. So nothing strenuous, and they are advertised as being for impact drivers. Cannot blame the worker (professional carpenter), cannot blame the tool, and cannot blame the wood (softwood 3x2). So get out of that one Screwfix! Please go back to Wera or supply DeWalt bits singularly.
