Xpelair LV100TS 12W Low Voltage Bathroom Extractor Fan is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Venting fan This was a replacement for fan that failed (the previous model).the fan on this model is at the front of the grill where the old model the fan was to the back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Failed after 5 weeks Having spent a long time looking for a fan for the en-suite I decided on this unit. It worked fine for a few weeks then rattled a couple of times and failed. Don't be fooled by the backdraft shutter, it is not integrated and is a flap plate that sits on the exterior wall. Easy installation but as it uses a transformer it does take a couple of seconds for the fan to kick in when switched on. It also has a preset running time of 3 mins when switched off which can be adjusted for longer periods but cannot be turned down any further. The fan is quiet when running, not silent as stated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Xpelair LV100ts This is a twin speed fan as the transformer has connections for either 7v for low speed or 12v for the higher extract rate. You select what speed you want at installation via connecting your switch live to the chosen terminal, or you could use a seperate fan controller. The fan motor assembly itself only requires a switch live and neutral from the transformer so this was helpful as the originally installed fan needed L, N and SL, and as per normal the cowboy installer previously had used cpc as SL. Xpelair used to give a 3year warranty but is now only 2 years. Hopefully this fan will outlast that but who knows? Apart from all of that, the fan looks nice is ample big enough for small to average size nathrooms.
