Yorkshire Tectite Sprint Push-Fit Pipe Coupler 15mm is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tectite push fit coupler Very easy to use , makes Lego look really complicated ! Cut the pipes ,slide on the ends and that's it . It is genuinely that easy . Once on though thats it , you cant pull them back off, so make sure things are where you want them .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product I recently changed all 6 radiators in my home for double panels. i really wanted to solder the joints but after using copper push fit at work i decided to use them on my central heating at home. There are no specialist tools required to assemble push fits, just invest in a decent pipe cutter and a deburring tool. Note that when you use pipe cutters it debur the outside diameter of the copper pipe. All you have to do is debur the inside of the pipe with a debur tool. i like to finally go over the copper pipe with a steel wool. i then used a clean rag to get rid of any dirt etc. take care to cut pipe straight and trust me you won't have any worries. all joints were solid first time no leaks. if you look inside look inside the push fit you will see a bit of grease intentionally left on the rubber seal in the fitting, this is to aid the pipe sliding over the seal and help prevent gouging the seal as this will cause it to leak. when pushing copper pipe in make sure to push it all the way i believe it goes in just shy of 20mm. there are tools to remove these fittings but I wouldn't! so measure pipe work lengths out properly before assembling! they look great and its a good alternative to soldering. Hope this helps

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solution to tricky problem... When you need to make a permanent joint, in a hard to reach area, with minimal clearance, and materials which mean you can't use a torch, then Tectite Sprint fittings are a god send. I had to repair two 15mm swan neck sections on my central heating, under two other 28mm pipes, and which an idiot builder had left against a concrete edge, and over time had abraded and leaked. No access or space for compression fittings, no room for longer push-fit, and wooden surrounds + poor access made solder joint hard (I normally solder almost everything with end-feed fittings). These compact fittings were the perfect solution, and I no longer have any leaks. Without them, I would have had to cut, remove and replace the large pipes over the top, shutting off and draining hot and cold water supplies. The only downside is that they are one-time, so you had better finish the ends properly, and check lengths, before you start. Get it wrong, and you have to cut them off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easiest thing ever! Needed to splice in a new chrome towel rail to the CH system. Pipe work was difficult due to original installation being close to wall so needed to extend out - no room to swing a spanner for a compression fitting, soldering in the tight space a no no. Cut the pipe square with a monument pipe cutter and pushed this on extended with a length of 15mm pipe. Jobs a good un.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed! Used these for the first time recently for some domestic water installations that are on show and was most impressed with them. Definitely worth the extra money compared to compression fittings or plastic fittings and saves any concerns regarding hot works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved me from my Mrs's fury! As a DIYer I can turn my hand to pretty much anything. Had to install a new rad but have no plumbing experience. I understand the concept/theory but never actually performed any repairs. After having a bad experience with some solder ring couplers bought from thorns (all failed) I was stuck with a leak and my Mrs was kicking rite off after not being able to wash her hair! Those solder ring fittings aren't easily installed on vertical pipes in situ. I bought some of these as a last resort and they are fantastic. Fixed my leak in 5 mins and didn't have to drain the system fully as they require no soldering. Happy mrs. Just be sure your pipes are smooth and clean. No sharp hacksaw cuts please people. Always use the pipe cutter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good little number!! A really good, time saving range of fittings, mess free, no hassle..I notice several people saying they are not removable once fitted? There is a reasonably cheap removal tool to do this.. I didn`t know of it and made my own, but have since got one.
