Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb Value :) Excellent product for cutting and triming my pear tree. Initially thought would not be good for price, but actually brought two pairs as they were superb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for money We were so impressed with these after an afternoon in the garden that we went out and bought some long handled ones as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buy cheap, buy twice! An acceptable tool if you only want to cut soft green stems but will certainly not cut 15mm dead wood as description suggests. The anvil on this tool is some type of soft nylon material, and the blade is only secured by a single screw allowing it to rock as the cut takes place. This rocking then allows the screw to come undone until the blade soon becomes ineffective. If you want a reliable tool spend a little more. This is certainly not a professional tool as stated on its packing, which also does not bear a country of origin.Enough said.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless, really surprised Bought purely on strength of reviews, thought rather cheap at the time. As the blade doesn't close on to the anvil very well, light shows between if you hold it up to check, I wasn't surprised at its poor performance cutting new growth on ivy.Went back to ancient secateurs which have a loose guard lever which is why I need new ones.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pants They are possibly the worst I've ever used. The jaws don't line up and the grip on the handles is loose.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sacateurs Not very good. Struggled to cut very small branches. Not sure if I had a duff pair. I bought the traditional design ones (same price) an they are perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Anvil Secateurs Usually your goods are spot on. Unfortunately these were useless. Would not cut the smallest of twigs, on inspection blade did not line up with the block part. The branches I tried to prune would not cut all the way through and left torn and damaged branches. Not a bit of good would have taken them back but thrown away receipt and packing. Be very wary if purchasing them. Definitely not recommended.
