Rated 5 out of 5 by from High wattage bulb capacity a b I wanted a light with pir and 100 watt bulb capacity, this fits the bill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of my go-to products Fitted lots of these. They go up easily and quickly, connection is a breeze and they always work. There are no adjustments to faff around with which to me is a great feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quick and easy As most of the trade reviewers have said this is a simple, does what it does, exterior lantern. I brought three to replace three varying style, rusted metal rubbish ones No chance of metal rot with these plastic and polycarb versions. I liked the back plate feature which allows for fixing and wiring and then plugging in the lantern. Very easy to wire and fix. Not sure why one of the DIY reviewers found the wiring instructions complicated. Live, neutral, earth is about a simple as it gets when connecting a cable! Also to be expected there are some cuts out to do depending on how the cable enters the unit. This isn't a fault in my opinion just common sense.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs rethinking Initial impression is it's cheap plastic, very light, flimsy and overpriced;but it grows on you, it wont rust, is a doddle to fit and when installed looks the part. But like most things the difference between mediocre and great is just 10% in the detail, there's a recess cut in the backplate for the cable to enter, but not a corresponding one in the cover so it wont sit flush to the wall without butchery, if the cable is fed from the bottom recess it routes immediately behind the fixing screw holes inviting you to drill through the cable, the instructions say weatherproof the lantern with silicon sealant which if it was made properly would not be needed., time will tell how it stands the weather!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from coach light plastic is very plastic y, there is no adjustment on these which i was a little disappointed with, however my customer hasn't mentioned this. only just installed, so reliability, too soon to comment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PIR coach light I would have given this 5 stars but its only just up on the wall and the customer end user will determine that. The lamp is secured to the back plate with screws top and bottom, quite easy to lose so look out. It needs a firm grip to remove the back plate from the lamp body, this is due to a nice feature, the lamp plugs into the back plate. No more wishing you had a third hand to support the weight whilst you wire up. Out of the box the light looks a bit plasticky (ok it's made from plastic) but once up,on the wall it looks smart. Once energised there is not much to set up, it just works. Customer was happy and requested another for elsewhere!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dwisott OK, easy enough to install but I wish some one would think of a better way to access the bulb other than machine screws which; a) you can so easily drop and b) all too readily corrode so that next time you need to change the bulb you can't undo them

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Lantern I too have fitted a good few of these and agree 100% with what the other electrician said, they are a very reliable, robust lantern. Metal ones look tatty after a few months. Electricians only fit reliable kit because if they become faulty, you have to replace them free of charge, which is wasted labour time.
