Bailey Steel Drain Test Plug 100mm 2 Pack is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Bought to assist in clearing a blocked drain. Having unblocked it this enabled me fill the drain and fill it with caustic soda to clear any residual crud from the drain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sturdy bung Bought for plugging up an old 4 inch clay pipe drain. Good grip range and unlike the plastic version you can get this nice and tight without stripping the threads. Good price for a pair of these, and as a temporary or even permanent stopper you won't find much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did Exactly What I Wanted Fair price for a pair. Used to block off an unused former drain (110mm) for neighbours extension guttering, as they had moved their downstairs toilet and plumbed the soil outlet pipe into the rainwater flow away pipe. Whenever they flushed the toilet it washed backwards into the redundant drain and the raw sewage just sat there. Flushed it out, stuck this fella just inside the opening of the drain. It was a one handed job, so I kept cranking the wing nut half a turn until it went in really snug, making it possible for me to turn the wing nut with one hand as the rubber seal had caught hold. Gave 3 stars for reliability only as I do not know what the future holds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect solution Bought these to prevent loss of pressure when clearing a difficult section of drain. Provided a good seal and allowed completion of the job. Great value for money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from tricky to deploy I would recomend this product for an easily accessible drain, however you need to get two hands on it to tighten it up. Also the plastic butterfly nut is too week and I have broken the tabs off these before a good seal has been achieved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money Good value for the product, much better than the plastic ones that are on the market. Worked great with the testing kit too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Do a good job Bought these in order to perform a building control water test of a new section of drainage. Did a good job in creating a water tight seal in the 100mm pipe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bailey drain plugs Great value and provide a strong seal. I used one to seal off an unused branch of clay sewer that I was backfilling with concrete - worked perfectly.
