Elkay Columbus Pneumatic Time Delay Switch is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ideal for Normal Lighting Overall the timer is excellent with fast break contacts (snap action) that produces flicker free operation during timing and a clean switch-off at the end of the timing period. Note: Setting the timing period is approximate and requires rear access to the switch so setting the required time before final installation is recommended. Some timing variation occurs between successive cycles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to adjust Had to return first one, as time delay couldn't be set for more than 15 seconds. Setting the time is tricky, seems to be little variation in adjustment between 30 secs and 5 minutes - not very reliable. However, once its on a setting that you're happy with, it seems fairly consistent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seemed OK but then broke Bought this to operate an outside light but the switch failed to return to the off position after less than a month of use. Returned it for an exchange - now I'm hoping the new one fares better. The assistant at Screwfix wasn't surprised I'd returned it as she'd had the same problem! Disappointed with the quality, but happy with the good customer service from Screwfix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be careful on set-up The screw to adjust the time is not linear so adjust it slowly until the required time is reached. Good robust product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Screwfix had it! It was a replacement for a broken one. Only found screwfix stocked it! It was very easy to fit it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doe the job! Swapped an older pneumatic switch for this model. The switch worked well and felt well made, my only gripe with it is the dial that alternates the time on the back was not as well made as the rest however it will not be used often if at all once set, I would use again and recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose I wanted a simple timer for a path light which would run for around 10 minutes , when opened up the packaging notes said the maximum time was 5 minutes (Screwfix site said 10) the adjustment is very hit or miss and I got such diverse times from the settings that I took the unit back ,Screwfix changed it, new unit exactly the same so it also went back , I know it is never going to be totally accurate as it is an air release switch not electronic There are no calibration marks on the setting screw so it is hit or miss but even following the user guides instructions the variance was way off track, another supplier told me they had a similar problem with this product and they were fired back to the manufacturer who admitted liability for a faulty production run
