Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Replacement Used to replace motor in boss therm valve. Replaced cogwheel as suggested by another reviewer but all working now. Will see how long it lasts

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and easy fix This is the second replacement motor bought from Screwfix to keep a now 22yr old Honeywell valve running. The previous one has lasted nearly 10 years, and fitting is so simple, a 5 min job. Click and collect from the local depot was effortless, thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good replacement A good brand which should give reasonable lifespan. Very useful as it save having to replace whole zone valve. Check cogwheel drive though as if you have a Siemens (Landis and Staefa) RMH valve you will need to change over the brass drivewheel as the original has a longer reach. Also before you change you may find that the electrical connections need to be revamped for the RMH valve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit Replaced the motor in a Horstmann F322 which had been installed for only a relatively short period of time. Ideal replacement, and fittings provided to connect wires. Great relief not having to replace whole valve!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple easy to fit replacement When the motorised valve packed up on my Horstmann F322 three port valve, I traced the problem and found to my dismay that the valves are not that reliable ,with the motors lasting around 18 months, I thought that I would have to drain down and fit a whole new unit...but wait whats this a replacement motor that might fit.... and it does, it took me all of 15 mins to exchange the motor and the kit even includes crimp connectors to connect to the existing wires....perfect. Fantastic value item, I have scored it 5 stars for reliability even though its only been fitted for a couple of days, even if it fails next month its still a cheap no messing fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A job you can do yourself My Honeywell heating valve was playing up, so after getting a quote for call out and possible parts all amounting to around 100 pounds plus, I decided to do it myself. The motor was a straight swap and rewire, all easy to do and done in less than 15 min. System back up and running for the price of this motor. I would recommend trying this before replacing more expensive parts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thrifty repair It took me hours to teach myself how a central heating valve worked and work out what had gone wrong, but only ten minutes to fit the new motor. Two screws and two spade connectors. It would have been a shame to have thrown out a £90 valve for the sake of a £14 motor. I'm glad Screwfix were able to provide it and glad I tracked it down. My heating is now fit for the winter!
