Drayton TRV4 White & Chrome Angled TRV x 15mm is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item good design Well the TRV4 has been around for a number of years, available in white, chrome, straight and angled with or without a lock shield. Yes there are cheaper brands available but they may not be as reliable as the Drayton, should you need to change the valve head because someone painted over it or loses it! You know that the Drayton design will be around and you can pick up a replacement head. Try that with your no name cheap TRV that's only around for a few years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent valves These TRVs are well made and reliable, it's no accident they are the default product for good plumbers. I know I will never have a callback because of one of these. Overall excellent if a little pricey.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable valves These valves are very easy to install and do what it says on the tin. Although there are guidelines for average temperature values for the settings, you invariably need to adjust by trial and error for each location. My one issue with them is that if you over-tighten them on installation, they can later shear off from the mounting - which can be expensive. The installation instructions do give a mild warning about tightening but do not say what the risk is.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from look at other manufacturers Had my whole house fitted with these, and so far 2 have broken and had to be replaced. The plastic on the bottom of the valve dis-integrates. I guess that Drayton are aware of this, as they sell just the head replacement! Nice if they looked into solving the problem, rather than making the consumer pay for a replacement each time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart A rated efficient valve Contemporary design Easy setting Frost protection as standard 'A' rated for efficiency The TRV4 is 'A' rated for efficiency by the European valve manufacturers association making it one of the most energy efficient TRVs available. Available since 1993 and still Britain's best selling range of Thermostatic Radiator Valves Drayton's TRVs set the standards for design, performance and quality. Flow noise through valves It is strongly recommended that the differential pressure across the thermostatic valves should not exceed 0.2 bar to avoid flow related noise. A differential pressure regulating device such as an automatic bypass valve should be used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drayton TRV Well what can I say a valve opens and closes. That is what this one does, it opens and closes, thermostatically. Chrome is good. Nothing bad to report.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of the best available Drayton is one of the best valves but all valves tent to get stuck if not adjusted for some time. Remember to turn it every so often and advise your clients to do the same
