Earth Rod 5/8" 4ft Extendable is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Earth Rods Solid rods that drive well into the ground with a good hammer or SDS drill. Good threads which fit the couplers and clamps nice and tightly. Click and Collect worked smoothly as usual

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robust earth electrode Strong earth rod threaded both ends. Used it with the knocking in bolt and coupler, and the 5/8" clamp. Had to run the coupler over the thread in a vice as the fit was tight. The clamp was threaded but the bolt is 10mm, not 8mm as specified. Had to drill out a an 8mm lug to 10mm. No problem knocking it into softish ground. Good product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ideal for TT Excellent product - BUT - as another says, make sure it does not come unscrewed, always rotate in same direction (even with 8 ft in ground I was able to rotate with the earth clamp). I really did tighten up with mole grips and spanner each section, yet once I gave the bolt (essential and cheap, always use one) a gentle tap with the club hammer (clay soil went in fairly easily), it still came loose. I withdraw the rods and turned the top one round so that the point was uppermost and tried again, no change it still came loose. As long as you tighten up as it goes in the soil by twisting in same direction it should be OK. I would think in many cases the grip on the lower rod will keep it tightened. I am sure that as the ground conditions change thing will be fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the job Just the job to earth an electric fence and a lot more weighty than rival products

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will only use this from now on I first drilled with a long drill bits into the ground to make it easy for knocking down the earth rod and it was very easy after that. I like the fact that is good it's got a thread at the tip which makes it easier for connecting the clamp and the earth cable. excellent products will only use this from now on

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made and good value Purchased four of these for a new TT earth system, having found we had a very poor TN-S supplier earth, which the supplier refused to rectify. Used two rods connected together 8ft apart. Reasonably easy to hammer into the ground on wet clay based soil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from earth rods I bought two earth rod for a wind break door I've mad for the caravan so the dog doesn't get out!! Must say they ram in any hard ground idea for the job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great earth rods I had put two of these in the ground and decided to add a third to make a 12ft earth rod. You need a joiner and a driving nut even for one rod, and after the third rod these were showing signs of having been hit hard and often with a sledgehammer. But they are cheap enough and this is a good system if you want a low-resistance earth. Shame the rods were out of stock for a while.
